In a nutshell I sold an item for $175 on November 20th, got an item not as described email via eBay today. He has not left me feedback one way or the other nor can I leave him feedback as 59 days have passed since he received the item.
So what are my options? I'm sensing a scam? Paypal disputes need to be opened within 45 days correct? Feedback needs to be left within 60 days? I cant see any reason in the world to allow him to return the item, does the buyer even have any recourse at all? Last edited by KingMob; 01-26-2013 at 08:25 PM. |

Is the message is coming from the buyer or Ebay? I thought 14 days was the max setting for allowing returns.
I wouldn't accept the return at this point.

I'm pretty sure after 14 days I am clear and free. After 45 days PayPal claims can not be opened. After 60 days feedback can not be left? I'm going to call eBay on Monday and make sure I'm okay. |

You have 45 days to file an item not as described case with paypal. Regardless of your or ebays return policy. He is over the 45 day limit. I dont believe he can do anything as far as forcing a return. Not sure if he can still leave negative feedback for you though.
