if ebay does infact do this your going to see s/h rates from sellers go way up
& like closer to 4.50 & 5.00 & now sellers more then likeley will no longer offer a s/h discount .

that now means the following ebay 10%+0.25list fvc & Paypal 2.9 % +0.35 transaction so its now costing you 0.60 cents +12.9% in fees your going to see $1 ebay listings drop & Sellers stop listing in baulk like i do because of the fees

to be honest i think ebay should operate like ebay half & collect the money for you right away this will elimate all the NPBs for sure this would make me happy

Evidently the sports and memorabilia section of ebay must be pretty lucrative to them. It seems by dropping listing fees they are trying to match Naxcom. However, if they increase FV that high they will drive more people away and to Naxcom.

I honestly don't think that Naxcom is even on ebays "threat radar."

Ebay doesn't care about Naxcom and neither does the hobby. They are a blip on the radar of the grand scheme of things.
