Im the seller of a card ($32) I shipped the card on the 18th sense the 19th it has shown its at a sorting facility about an hour from me. I have called them they said they would do some checking and call back. I gave them 3 days and they never called back. I now have called my local PO to have them do some investigating. Now the buyer has opened a case on eBay saying he wants a full refund. I explained the situation and provided the tracking number that shows where its at....He says it has taken way to long and wants a refund. Do you think eBay will make me give a refund?? Its obvisious I dont have the card. I explasined I will call my local PO and see if they found out anything by Tuesday. Ive explained I know its taken a long time and can understand his frustration but this is obviousley not my fault.
Has anyone ever had this happen? If eBay decided to give a refund he would get a free card eventually. They never cese to amaze me but they shouldn't take my money..Right?

refund the guy...the bigger the ass you are to him now the more likely he is to tell you to f-off if he gets the card in the future..
i would refund the money and apologize and ask that if he gets the card to please make you aware (obviously keep checking tracking and give him a day or 2 after it arrives to see if he is going to be honest with you) and then it should be a smooth transaction...just because you can prove you shipped it also means he can prove he never got it so paypal will side with him all day long....its 32 dollars do the right thing because on ebay its the sellers responsibility to make sure the item arrives to the buyer in said condition..so until he has the cards your on the hook |

I had a package take 15 days to get to its destination just last month.
Have you called the post office's 800 number and had an official case opened? My package arrived 2 days after I opened a case. You are pretty much screwed. Be really nice to the buyer and hope they tell you when it arrives. |
