What are your thoughts on this auction of mine?

I have just started to try and fill some sets from the past, and have noticed a lot more auctions offering your choice. I think it looks great.

The only thing I would do is add the card # with each player. I know it takes more time when listing but most "want lists" are by card # so it makes it a lot easier for the buyer.

Are auctions like this allowed?

I have some stuff to get rid of which I notice people sell as a "U-Pick" listing, but I thought you can't sell that way and Ebay may remove the auction. However, obviously many people still do it...am I confusing these listings with something else?

Oh, and yes card# would be helpful.

I just had someone hit the BIN and made payment. I messaged them asking what 10 rookies they wanted and they replied back with:

10 Percy Harvin's.

WTF??? Now what do you guys think?....lol

Well, the description clearly states only one of each player is available. He probably didn't bother reading the whole thing. Maybe just drop it mutually?

You may want to consider giving him a decent chunk of the payment back if he only wants the 2 guys. This would hopefully keep you from getting hit with a neg. As I'm sure he is intending to do with the "i won't deal with you anymore" line.

I could see how that might be misleading. Seems like you are saying that you get to pick the 10 card lot from that group of players (meaning each guy has 10 cards). And your response to him could have been done a little more gently. Instead of the sarcastic "It always helps..." line you probably should have explained to him that he misunderstood what the auction was for.

Anyways, hope it works out for the both of you.

Your listing is ok the way it is as you do have stated below the names that only one of each is available, but I'm with Pat - I'd of sent a much "softer" reply.
