So who else is attending?

TRISTAR San Francisco Show - Autograph Schedule & Tickets

I go every year. I'll be there all 3 days with a Priority Pass, so it's nice to be able to go first in line regardless of ticket number. Will be getting most Giants, and Willis obviously. Don't usually find too much PC stuff, though I tend to pick up a box or two from Greg.

Also, I would be willing to take on orders if someone cannot attend. You would pay for the price of the tickets, return shipping and a few extra bucks for my time and effort. You can also pay me to buy items at the show for you if you don't have any yet. Priority Pass is nice since I could get you a fresher signature as well. If interested, please PM me for details.

I hear that, I've been waiting on info on GTSM for a while. Definitely centered more on 49ers in comparison. I think it's supposed to be in May, no?

not sure. they've pushed it back farther and farther every year.

I want to go to tristar for Kaepernick and some baseball stars... but i want to go to gtsm for the variety of football stars... especially because I have a cowboys and chargers and possibly soon a niners helmet that need to be signed

You guys should try and check out the Concord show on March 23rd. Its all over beckett, Craigslist, Facebook and all the forums. Its a great show with a lot of Modern dealers, High-end Football cards, Vintage dealers as well. They have great raffles. Its a nice and friendly atmosphere.
Also Beckett grading services will be set up at this show. That doesnt happen too often for a 1 day show-

Concord show at Crown plaza hotel.. Saturday March 23..9:00am-3:00pm
Over 50 dealer tables..Great selection...Raffle giveaways..Modern and vintage dealers along with memorabilia and New/old wax...
It's a SPORTS only show..NO TOYS/NO BEANNIES/NO POKEMON ECT....
BECKETT grading services will be setting up a booth at this show to accept Submissions....

I'm thinking of making the trip to this show I'm about 400 miles away... Anybody who has been to this show in the past, I have a few questions:

Approx: How many tables.
What is the overall selection? Percentage Vintage? Percentage Modern?
What is the percentage of sports? Is this a 90% baseball 10% other type of show?
or is it 30, 30, 30, 10% with the 10% probably being hockey.

What's the price selection. Is it mainly $100-$500 type cards or is there a big selection of $1-$10 type cards.

What kind of value is there? I always read that everything at the national is grossly overpriced. Is it the same here or is it possible to find some good prices on high-end/low-end.

I think for newer sports cards there probably around 75 tables worth. and Vintage around 30 ish? Pricing for wax would be my buddy that i'm set up with, his prices are the same as blowout give or take $5-10. Price selection there's something for everyone. You'll find dealers with bargain bins from .25 and up. There are some dealers that do have high end, but if there's something specific you're looking for PM me as I know most of the dealers that will be there and I'll be set up also

I'll be there set up for sure with the main wax guy. It all depends what you are willing to sell items at. I know majority of dealers will pay 65-70% of ebay as after fee's and everything they will need to make around 10-17%. Trading is a all different for dealers, some will give you a better value some will stiff you. It never hurts to ask what they will offer.

Oh ok. I should be there on Saturday. Are you the one that always works with Greg at the Sacramento/San Jose etc. shows?

I'm the asian guy that there with him all the time...just never go to the Sac shows with him. But all other bay area one's i'm there. I'll have 3 showcases at tristar. Mainly graded cards. I think i'll be 1 of the few with Lillard auto's at the show. Think I'll have 1 showcases just full of them haha

oh ok. Because at the Sac shows he always has someone with them. I think i may have seen you at the show next to where great america (dont remember the city name lol). but that's about it. I'm sure ill see you at tri-star though

Also, seems like TriStar gave GTSM the short straw on doing a show this year.
