Mine have picked up in the last couple of weeks. A majority of my inventory is Football so that would explain it.

Mine is basketball....just got rid of stuff that was laying around...looks like its gonna stay there. Yea I am going to send in the rest of the my baseball and football stuff soon. The football has been selling I have to agree with you on that, most of my 2007 Topps football cards have been selling.

I have been meaning to send in cards for a while now, but now I will for sure.

You haven't been around long enough to see some of the people that have flooded in from other boards. So before you talk about my class, or lack their of in your opinion, look back at the last few months and I'd bet you can count on 1 hand the number of posters that came from other boards that are on here giving valuable information. Most of them come over throwing around stupidity, making useless posts, and try to unload their garbage that they couldn't unload elsewhere.

Has anyone sold any vintage stuff and what do they do about condition. Is the picture a generic picture of the card or do they actually scan every single card?

It's an actual scan, front & back. They do an excellent job.

I basically put them around 40% of book. It can't hurt to have them there instead of my closet.

You guys have convinced me...I opened an account and am planning on sending in 200 cards soon...Maybe half baseball and football.

You know if Blowout has made them such a huge splash maybe they could offer people who subscribe to Blowout's Newsletter a one time discount...hehehe!! I'm cheap

LOL - I thought the IT gestapo removed it from my work computer. It was working at lunch, but not since then.

Ok, glad its not just me getting the error.

I'm trying to find a card that no one seems to have and that was the last place I had to check.

I think they might be getting too much traffic for their hosts to handle.

That sounds like a positive thing. Like I said, if checkoutmycards can get a lot more buyers and sellers, they can easily have 10 times as many users as they had a few months ago. So of course more people going through the site will slow it down, hopefully more buyers will mean more sales for us.

The two things I noticed is for those sellers who have only sold either 0 or 1% of their cards is as follows:
1) A Majority of their cards are basketball

2) Only offering 0-20% below book

I am really interested in trying this out after I complete my card show next weekend. What I have done in the interim is put $10 in my checkoutmycards.com account and purchased $10 worth of cards that were marked 80-90% below book to see if I could actually sell resll these cards without actually sending any in. If I sell a few of these, I will have no problem sending in about 100 baseball/football insert/rookie cards that book between $3-10 a piece.
