If I were running COMC I would put a plan in place to somehow list higher priced, better quality stuff first. Granted it might take some extra sorting, but I have got to believe they are spending a lot of time messing around with cards that are being sold for less than fifty cents or so. I am not suggesting they eliminate those, but I would put a higher priority on higher dollar things for which they make more money when they sell....Just my thoughts.

As of tomorrow, they will have about 6500 cards from me that I have sent in over the last three weeks. Glad I started sending them in when I did. Can't wait to get them posted!

Sorry but the whole point is to sell the ones for less than 50 cents. I am glad you want to totally destroy what is being done here. Thanks for the input.

I think the reality here is that we do need to keep in mind that this is a business for them....yes, just like the people at ebay. I am just as frustrated at the long leadtimes as well, as I have about another 30,000 cards destined for COMC. I will just have to live with the leadtimes as well.

I am not sure how my comments mean that I want to totally destroy anything....the idea for all of us in using COMC is to get rid of unwanted stuff sitting around. I can assure you that while COMC is more than happy to continuously sell cards for under .50, they are definitely planning on selling higher dollar volume cards as well as part of their overall business plan.

Not sure whose point it is to only sell things under .50?

And thank you for your input as well.

I think that they will be trying to get some more high dollar stuff, and they have with Matt's cards on there. The problem I have with what you were saying is that you made it seem that the high dollar should take precidence over the 50 cent cards and so forth. I know that I sell a ton of cards that are below that, and dang right I am happy doing so. It clears out cards and I get something from it. They were built on inserts and so forth. I would hate for them to put that on the backburner to be a competition to ebay. Yes, they are taking things from ebay, but they are still a place where you can get rid of things that would not sell on ebay and they need to continue with that.

I think they are equally happy either way.

If 30,000 cards get sent in at the budget rate of 10cents per card listing fee, then that's $3000 right off the bat. Then they will get approximately $300 per month in storage fees, (for now), if none sell. If they sell, well then they will get more. I would imagine it's relatively easy to store 30,000 cards, so they are probably laughing all the way to the bank that people not only send in high dollar cards, but lower-end cards as well.

If cards are listed for less than .25, there is no monthly fee.

After your cards are priced, I see where someone will post that all cards are X % off. Is there an automated way of doing this or are you changing each price one at a time.
Thanks

You just need to send them an email. There is no way to automatically do this at this time (think they're working on it).

Just slashed prices on a lot of cards. I am always looking for offers on multiple cards. Just add them to your shopping cart and then submit an offer
