Is there a limit on how many times a person can send you a crap offer on the same card? I have had someone send me the same offer for 5 straight days. I already have the card listed at 85% off and now I am just tired of dealing with him.

I know it is annoying, but I am worried that if someone is doing that and they get stopped, it could slowly make the offers go away. Like I have said in many posts, I have only declined one offer on a card. The guy did do the same thing, but it was just because I wanted to keep the card for myself. I was just seeing if someone would bite on it at a price high enough to make me sell. The offers make COMC so much better. I understand your pissiness with the guy, but it only takes 30 seconds at most to decline it. I am worried if people continue to complain there will be more parameters on the offer function which I feel is already set well.

Just my opinion. I know others get more upset about "bad" offers than I do. I guess the fact that my cards are only going for .25-3.00 makes it easier to accept. I like to buy and sell cheap. LOL.

Is the offer that you are being sent 50% of your original asking price? I think I remember hearing that 50% is the lowest you are allowed to make offers and I get quite a few of them regularly (I usually accept them). If I am correct in the 50% being the lowest offer you can just increase your asking price on the card to around double whatever your lowest offer you would accept is. IE, if you are asking $20 for a card and he is offering $10 but you don't want to take any less than $16 you can try increasing your asking price to $32.

I agree that nothing should be done to discourage the COMC offer process. Sales are slowing with the economy so many of my sales are from offers (Hint, Hint which I appreciate and accept wherever possible).

I have doubled the price of a couple of my cards when I got the same offer for 3-4 straight days. I took no offense to the offers, I would rather keep the paticular card for my PC than sell at the offered price.
