they dont pay to get their cards listed. we do. unless a lot of the money they are making is coming from a place other than our pockets, then the fact that th epeople running the show are also sellers does not mean squat to me.

I will take my $7,104.11 (minus shipping costs to them) to date that I have made from cards sitting in a closet. Not bad for a little income for a Navy Retiree that doesn't work.

That is kind of my point, their incentive to list your cards quickly does not exist. They are making money at the front end and the back end and in between.

i dont want my cards listed quickly... i want my cards listed on time.

if they tell me one month from now, my cards are going to be posted, then one month from now i better see them up...

and if they aren't up, a courtesy email with a status would be in order.

I agree with you captain about the service...their solution to not being able to get cards up on time is increase their charges for a quicker service. If it keeps going, lead time will be in months. Not a good business plan in my mind.

But anyways since I don't want to rock the boat and hurt everyone's feeling about COMC, what is their lead time at now?

I do not hear anyone saying COMC sucks. I hear that we think they should listen more and be more aggressive in listing our cards. We know they are going to have bumps and bruises. Our input should be used to make the site better not worse. I just do not like the new policies as well as the old ones. I can wait, but when it is over the time they are quoting, we should get an email letting us know and probably a discount, not a big one, but for a 1000 cards that are late, why not waive the 3 dollar fee? Just builds more support.

would you be kissing their ass if you hadn't made 7k yet and you have 2000+ cards waiting to be posted after paying 200+ bucks for them to do it?

or if you were a brand new seller and your cards didn't post until a week+ after they said it would be posted and when you inquired about it, you were brushed off?

highly doubt it.

when you are done kissing their ass, try to get back down to our level and look at things from the customer service standpoint.

I havent seen one person say they suck either. We are just frustrated and a bit irritated that the customer(thats us) service has started to slip so soon. Any successful business keeps their customers in the loop when they have delays or issues. Many people are being given a date and then nothing happens on that date. The cards dont post and they dont let us know. To me its just not the way to keep customers long term. Like CBO said.. if they tell me 6 weeks, I dont mind waiting either. But when the 6 weeks go by, I expect them to keep their word. If there is a problem on their side, I also expect to be notified.

So is it too early to say this is "writing on the wall"?

I know for a fact that for a long time, people were "thinking" LRC's time was about up and he was quickly heading under. Then people started to change their minds because they liked his lower prices. Then, low and behold, we all know what happened. Can the same be said with COMC??? 6 months from now will we be saying, "I should have seen this coming"?
