Thank you to everyone who is on here posting. This i why i love this community and hobby so much. This is a community and as such should be heard to the fullest. I used to love the site but they made some wrong turns and we need to see that they understand that we care about them but will part ways if our needs are not at least considered and I say that but what I really mean is I require a response from them letting us know that Hey we hear you and we are going to work with you to help make this site the best site for the common user.

I was thinking they should stop all the policy and price changes and then just change take there %20 at each sale automatically. This would make them allot more money and could probably drop it to %10 at each sale and make more money. This way people will tend to take they're money out and put more in at will.

This is an absolutely ridiculous post. I can't stand when someone logs in and posts like this. I don't know eelindy, but I have never once heard him say he's rich beyond belief. I for one like seeing other people's stats. After all, it informs the rest of us how some sellers are doing. This personal attack has no room in these forums. AND if it does, I won't be hanging around here much longer.

All I keep hearing you say is how you "personally" speak to so and so about this issue and how you keep telling him how pissed you are. eelindy could say similar things about you how you act all high and mighty being able to confront someone and tell them your pissed to their face. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with you posting you did this, but I wanted to point out that it's border line "pot calling the kettle black".

I won't stand for posts like this whether they're directed towards people I like or not. MODs shouldn't either.

You said if eelindy has some useful information to pass along, then great...this post of yours is completely and utterly useless in my opinion. Perhaps these thoughts should have been kept to yourself.

Now we are hitting on ideas that could help COMC recover. It really is only fair that they take 20% at the time of the sale. This is coming from a major COMC Flipper (over 2,400 cards purchased). It would slow down overall sales to some degree and almost completely eliminate flopping (buying a card for $1.00 trying to sell for $2.00 and then later bailing out for $1.00) which nets COMC absolutely nothing except the labor to transfer the cards. I will be an honest consumer and say that this benefit should not come at no cost.

COMC - I hope that you are following this thread. This board wants for you to succeed. Personally, the strange policy of getting rid of the $25.00 return shipment fee has spooked me because I won't be able or willing to part with $300+ in the future just to have my cards returned to me. Please reconsider this item, Please!

Getting back on topic:

I have to admit that I'm a little worried about these fees as well, and even more so about what Mizz commented on that his guy said how they're not making any money.

I have nearly $3500 in store credit right now. If I were to cash out, it would cost me $700. I had planned on keeping my credit there until some fantastic cards showed up. If I wanted to cash out this month, and COMC's store credit as a whole ended up having a mass exodus over the next few weeks, I'd be worried they wouldn't be able to pay me my $2800.

I'm wondering if they spend that 20% in "cash-out" fees before people actually cash out? That would be a recipe for a disaster come March 30th in my opinion.

I think there are many better ways to help your bottom line.

I don't like the idea of charging 20% right up front. Heck, that's more than EBay and Paypal fees combined! However, why not charge 5 cents, (or whatever amount works), per auction sold? Wouldn't that be an incredible idea? That way no matter how many times a card is sold, you get some money.

I have other ideas, but I'd like to keep my best ones private for now.
