Also, thanks for providing stats on how many orders hit the shipping cap. It gives us good insight, and also shows that the impact of removing the cap for buyers will be negligible. That was one of my biggest concerns with the proposed changes.
You guys provided great feedback! Thank you!!!

We will always do our best to keep our fees low and our quality of service high. Thank you for your patience as this start-up grows.

Our service will only be successful if we are meeting the needs of our buyers and sellers. I am glad that I have found such a great source of feedback that will help to directly shape the future of COMC.

I like the new fee schedule Tim...looks good! I also dont mind having fees frozen and/or taken at the time the cards are recieved. As a seller, I'd much rather have the money taken so I dont loose the 20% @ cashout, flip side of that being that with my newest shipment you have thats 3000 cards, thats 300 I'll have frozen, but with the listings being staged, I had plans (and still do, but will have to make changes in the future) that when the 1st batch is listed, I should be able to sell enough to fund the 2nd batch, and so forth. But not a problem, and I know enough in advance now to make sure I have the money in the account.

Another question for you about the March 30th date. Do the cards have to be inroute (post marked) or be recieved in order to stay under the old rules? I've got one lot pretty close to being ready to go, and another fairly close, but to get under the old schedule (.10/listing) I could find some additional motivation.

Thanks!

Robert

Tim,

Can you give us an idea of how our cards are stored. By seller, year, etc. Are they in monster boxes, etc?

Do it right and my wife my fly me out to help you if you promise to keep me there until late Sunday night so she has weekends to herself! As I said before, if you were closer I'd be very interested...but then again land is cheap in Lansing these days and if GM gets worse the price gets even lower

With these fees we should be able to double our capacity over the next 3-6 months, and if the numbers stay true, we should be able to continue to grow as needed based on the demand for our service.
Tim,

This looks very good. Thank you! I do have one concern though...

If you don't meet the "guaranteed" deadline, you're still charging more per card than the lowest price. What's to keep you from taking 8 weeks, for instance, to get someone's cards up that they paid Express Processing for and you charging them 25 cents per card?

I know you won't do this, but I could see it taking 3 weeks at times, and 25 cents per card would be a lot when they could have paid that in the first place with Priority Processing. Do you see what I mean? I wonder if you shouldn't be charging even less if you can't make the deadline. I think charging your minimum processing fee of 10 cents per card if you don't make the deadlines would be more customer friendly.

Just a thought. Thank you so much for listening thus far! I can see a great future for COMC.

Take care,

Matt

I don't understand your concern...

Lets say you have a 100 card lot and use the express...

It would cost you $50. If they don't meet it. It costs you $25

If you send in that same lot for priority...

It would cost you $25. If they don't meet it. It costs you $15

If you send that same lot for budget..

It would cost you $15. If they don't meet it. It costs you $10

Why should they charge .10 if they don't meet the express? That would not make sense to me!

What this does..it puts express at the top..and moves down the line. If they don't meet the deadline for your express cards, it gets first in the priority and down the line! What this does it makes them drop everything for the express and then if there is no more express, then priority, etc... It makes alot of sense to me, and I like it!

What this new pricing says to me is....If you spend the money and want your cards up quick...send them express! Let them make the effort to make $25! The ball would be in your court all the way! You could only gain by doing it. If they don't make the deadline..you just saved $25!

I think he means that if he pays for express and it takes takes the budget time he should only pay the budget not the priority

How about Donruss Americana Inserts?

I agree, but I don't see that happening. I am pretty sure, the way COMC is setup, express is before everything else. Until they run out of express, express is what they "drop everything" for.

In the rare chance that does happen, I am pretty sure, Tim would make a quick decision to charge the reasonable man's approach.
