Since I have been there (10 months), I noticed you can't decide what will sell.

As they say, "anothers person trash is another's treasure". It is very true on COMC.

I know that. And maybe in the future they will have an idea of how to show whats hot and whats not.

There are some guys that have ripped a lot of Nascar boxes that send cards to COMC. I was looking for their input......lol

That's why I wanted it to be clarified. That's all. I don't want to be "pretty sure", I want to be completely sure. I wasn't complaining. I'm trying to point out what others may question in the future.

They just need to be post marked by March 30th. Make sure you clearly mark that they are for the $0.10 Budget Processing Service.

Remember there are no guaranteed due dates with the budget service. It will likely take 3-4 months for us to get to the budget cards. The new Standard Processing Service will take 8 weeks guaranteed.

Sorry, that is part of our patent-pending process.

If you don't meet the "guaranteed" deadline, you're still charging more per card than the lowest price. What's to keep you from taking 8 weeks, for instance, to get someone's cards up that they paid Express Processing for and you charging them 25 cents per card?

I know you won't do this, but I could see it taking 3 weeks at times, and 25 cents per card would be a lot when they could have paid that in the first place with Priority Processing. Do you see what I mean? I wonder if you shouldn't be charging even less if you can't make the deadline. I think charging your minimum processing fee of 10 cents per card if you don't make the deadlines would be more customer friendly.

Just a thought. Thank you so much for listening thus far! I can see a great future for COMC.

Take care,

Matt
If you choose Express Service, and it takes more than 1 week but less than 3 weeks, we will charge the Priority rate. I doubt we will ever take more than 3 weeks on an Express order, but if we do, we will not charge any more than the Standard rate, and so on. Chances are, if we can't get an Express order up in 3 weeks, we won't charge anything for processing.

Yep, that is basically how it works. We try to hit our dates for as many Express and Priority transactions as possible.

We have a lot of things going in parallel, but here is the rough priority order we follow for trying to put cards on the site.
  1. Express past due
  2. Express due this week (that is all the rest of the Express)
  3. Priority past due
  4. Priority due this week
  5. Standard past due
  6. Standard due this week
  7. Budget past due
  8. Budget due this week
  9. Priority due in more than a week
  10. Standard due in more than a week
  11. Budget due in more than a week
  12. Go on vacation

Tim,

You are too busy for #12! Even though you guys deserve it! I truly am glad I found your site last year. You have helped me downsize when I retired and moved. I love being able to just kick back and watch the system work!

Thanks for all the feedback and changes for the better!

Erik

Agreed your site rocks, I don't know what I would have done with the big lot I bought from KaraandMelliesDaddy if it weren't for CMC and all of the new changes seem good. When your service goes from 20 cents last year to 15 cents a year later you know why this site is so popular.
When do you think you guys will be going to phase 2 and start advertising the site? Hockey sells are very bad on CMC, and baseball rules the site so I would like to see more hockey buyers and sellers on the site.
