Yea sales have bee down, maybe CMC can find a better way to store the cards so they can charge less for shipping and that will help us all.

I expected to see a dip in sales but have not seen that yet. In fact, I think I will be getting another 75-100 cards together to send in this weekend for the 3 week turnover price.

I think you are correct. I was spending a fair amount (hundred of dollars) on the site last month, but have stopped even looking now.

If they changed the shipping policies back or had a shipping special, I would be a buyer again.

Hopefully they can run some advertised "shipping" deals like in the past, to help stimulate the purchasers......

Shipping charges are cheap if you're buying higher-end cards. I have lots of those for sale.

I have seen waves since the change. I am sitting at about 200 cards left. I have another month before my new shipments will post. My worry is about their shipping back. They are so slow compared to what they were before.

Should of just bought it and would of been done.

I can't really speak for this seller or this specific situation, but I think buyers and sellers can't take rejected offers or counteroffers personally. There are a lot of sellers on the site that seem to be using the site for quick sales and are very concerned with selling off every card before storage fees come into play. Others of us are more focused on the long term and aren't concerned by the penny per month storage fees on any given card, so those sellers are going to be less likely to just automatically accept all offers. Many of the sellers have a certain amount invested into each card based on the cost of the inventory and fees, and if an offer is less than that amount then the offer is rejected because we'd either not be making anything or losing money on the card. I welcome all offers, but I rarely set my prices at twice what I am willing to take to where I can accept all 1/2 price offers. If I reject or counteroffer, its nothing personal. Similarly, I buy a lot of cards at 'regular' price if they are cards I can use and are priced at what I can pay. If you have a card I can use priced above what I can pay, I will submit an offer. If you can accept it, great! If not, I understand. The only time I really submit offers of 50% are when I read a seller specifically say they will accept those offers on here, or when a 50% offer is still around 50% of book value or higher. I think one thing that sellers start to dislike is when a buyer makes a lower offer on a card regardless of what the card is already priced at... even if its a price you are willing to pay. Plus, submitting an offer for a 'hot' card or player may remind that seller they have the card and that it is underpriced for the current market conditions. So if you offer less on a card of a hot player that is already reasonably priced, you definitely take the chance of the seller bumping the price up to be where the market is for the player/card now. But generally, I think people need to be less emotional and not take offense. Perhaps if sellers would just price cards at what they would take for them and/or buyers would just pay the price they are willing to pay (even if it means no discount) then everyone would be happier?

Is anyone else getting the feeling that cards that were sent in before the March 30th deadline are going to the back of the bus? I had an original due date of May 7th for some that I sent in early March. Now they are sitting at May 26th. Anyone else having this happen to their cards in progress?
