Tell me about it.

When I joined in February of this year, it only took $30,000 to make it to the top 3. I never thought I'd make it, and now with over $80,000 in inventory, I'm still only in 6th place. It currently will take $118,000 to make it to the top 3!

Default Just added...

I just added 150 card to my profile including new lettermen cards from 2009 UD Icons Football as well as many Jersey's, Auto's, and more from 2009 Allen & Ginter and 2009 Football.

I always consider any reasonable offers and will almost always counter if I don't accept.

More price cuts - now I'm down to average discount of 75% with average card value around $6. Lots of good deals to be had. Mostly stars and HOFers. Check it out.

How has everyone's COMC sales been since the National? My sales have been very good with a seemingly large influx of Player Collectors, Insert Set Builders, Short Print Set Builders with a wide range of vintage and modern singles.

To give you a feel of which cards I have sold in the past three weeks at least two of the same player in the same transaction. Some of these names will surprise you:

Tony Gwynn
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Bobby Higginson (really)
Derek Jeter
ARoid
Ben Roethlisberger
Merlin Olsen (all GU)
Deion Sanders (8 at once)
Drew Brees
Mark Buehrle (No Hitter helped, eh?)
Nolan Ryan
Manny Sanguillen (LOL)
Greg Jennings
Miguel Cabrera
Dan Marino
Carlos Lee
Robin Roberts
Joe Mauer
Jose Reyes
Ron Santo
Ryan Perry
Curtis Granderson
Barry Sanders
1974/75 Topps Basketball (30 at once)

I was thinking about listing my cards on that website, but there fees are so confusing.

I would rather just have a SOLID FEE PER CARD. Instead of all this crap they have, need my dang attorney just to figure it out.

Also Do Common NFL Rookie Cards Sell Well On There? Because I have hundreds of those I have nothing to do with, I also still have 95% of the cards from my 08 Allen and Ginter Case.

I guess you lost me here. COMC's fee structure is a lot more simple than Ebay's.

There are 3 types of fees on the site, the same number of fees you pay on ebay/paypal...

On ebay there is a listing fee, on COMC there is a processing fee. Depending on how quickly you want you cards uploaded, the processing fee is either 15, 25, or 50 cents per card.

On ebay there is a mandatory final value on all sold items. On COMC there is an optional cash-out fee of 20%. You only incur this fee if you transfer your store credit balance into cash via paypal or check. If you keep the store credit in your COMC account and either spend it on cards from the site OR processing fees for additional cards, you get 100% of the value of your store credit and thus avoid paying the 20% cash-out fee.

On ebay/paypal there is a 3rd fee you are hit with when someone sends you a payment (30 cents + 2.9%). On COMC there is a 3rd fee in the form of a storage fee for unsold cards. The first 3 months are free and after that each unsold card is charged a fee of 1 cent per card at midnight of the day of each new month. (So for example if you have 100 cards still unsold on Spetember 1st, your account will be charged a storage fee of $1.00) The storage fee is waived on all cards with an asking price of $0.25 or less.

Thats basically all there is to it. No need for Lawyers, its actually quite simple and FAR less of a headache than ebay/paypal and their tiered fee structures.

Out of curiosity, has anyone that dropped off cards at the National had those cards show up as pending in their accounts yet? I'm not concerned yet or anything as I'm sure things have been very busy for everyone there after the National. I mainly ask because I need to deposit more $ in my account to cover the processing fees for the cards I dropped off... but I basically want to wait until the last minute to do that as I'd like to cover as much of the bill as possible with my everyday sales. But I don't know if me not having the funds is preventing the cards from showing up yet. I will ask Tim or one of the other staff members if cards don't show up this week... I just wondered if anyone else has already seen their drop-off cards added to the pending section of their account yet.
