Not saying you'd want to do this, but just an FYI...

The site has a 95% off maximum when editing prices from the control panel as a safety precaution. But you can price cards individually at whatever price you want. Just go into a specific card and click on the "Manage Price" button. From there you can price cards pretty much as low as you'd want to. I just tested it by changing a $4 BV card to an asking price of $0.05, and it allowed the change and marked it as 99% off. (it was just a test though, and has since been switched back)

But sellers are not limited to 95% off if they wish to go lower... you just have to change cards individually as opposed to the control panel.

I mean I see $700 cards on a common basis, then check out Ebay and they are selling for $300 constantly. I guess if you have 1,000 cards like Matt does and sell one card a month for $10 storage fee, you make a killing on an overpriced card, nice strategy (not to single you out, but I just checked some high end cards of other sellers and it was ridiculous) .
Please check my cards out if you have some time. I have sold only about 4 cards over $40 in the month I have been selling now. That was about 15-25% OF BOOK. I agree. High end cards are not moving well. I feel I have the cards priced reasonable (I feel) with room to negotiate but I am new to COMC. Other things have moved well. My account has built up to nearly 1k. I have bought alot as well. I'm big on the prospects.

Thanks all. I bought close to 500 cards this past few days. (sorry if i low balled you all, but i am shipping out 95% of the cards so the .15 cent shipping on the low end cards kills alot of buying).

Price range was .25-$70.00 actual price(huge range).

Again, your card is only worth what some is willing to pay. If i sold my Cars(not cards) for what the "BOOK" prices are, i would be a zillionaire! Home lol.

Will be winding down buying the next couple of days. just waiting on some offers to finish up or will just cancel them.

again, dont get offended by my offers.

Default How do you buy a port?---revisited

been reading here a while which has resulted in a lot of buying from some of the regulars here--i'm the one who has either bought or offered on your refractors--a few post up i read about how to buy a port, but i must be slow, because i still dont understand it-- i love to do that kind of stuff but still DO NOT understand how you buy a port---do u let the seller change all the prices?--or do u just make an offer?--when i go to view the cart after putting a card in there, i just dont see a button to buy the port--i guess it needs to be spelled out to me--thanks

Put a card in your cart, but instead of going to the 'View Cart' page, go to the 'Make an Offer' page right next to it. For each card or cards you have in your card from different sellers, you will see a button at the bottom of each seller's section that says "Add all cards from this Seller". That will add the entire inventory of that seller to your cart, and you can make an offer from there. Offers must be at least 50% of the original asking price though, so you can't offer like $10 on $100 worth of a seller's asking price. But that's basically all there is to it. You'll notice a "Remove all cards from this seller" button also, which will come in handy when trying to work out port offers and the numbers don't work out to what you had hoped. Instead of leaving hundreds or thousands of cards in your card, just hit that button and they will all be removed.
