I'm screwed. I made a mistake assuming that the bulk rates were valid(emailed and never got answer). Just got off the phone and looks like my 500 cards i bought over the last 3 days cost $128.00 to ship.... or i have to wait to another shipping special. (SO IF I LOW BALL YOU, DONT BLAME ME, i have to adjust for shipping).

Hope you sellers get together and ask for some type of shipping breaks for BUYERS. WITHOUT BUYERS, you will not move to the next level. Currently they are FLIPPERS and cards moving port to port. I WANT TO BUY AND SHIP OUT to have the card IN HAND. I bought a couple of thousand worth at the beginning of the year and was turned off by the shipping rates being RAISED and stopped for a few months. But the bulk special brought me back a couple of months ago, I also told COMC on the phone today that i would buy 1000 or more cards if the shipping rates was better(lower end cards gets KILLED by the .25 shipping, buying a .25 card and shipping .25 makes it a .50 card,etc ..etc.. etc..

$128.00 shipping ( i could just bought a 138 GU/AUto lot for that on ebay.. errr)


COMC is a great site, but i am sure alot of other IN HAND buyers are not buying because of shipping, not quality of cards.


LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR INPUT IS.... HOPE YOU SELLERS see the buyers point of view..

had my first returned card yesterday. I had no idea at first why I got a package from COMC. They said the card was not listed in beckett, that is why they returned it. Funny thing is, there are 6 of them listed on COMC and 5 belong to to Tims account Lowpricecards. No big deal. They could have just saved the $ and kept it to donate or trash (or mysteriously lose it). I just think it is funny.

I do both on the site and I agree, I'd like to see the shipping rates change as I've got large number in post I'm ready to take delivery on as well. I havent checked my shipping costs lately for my lot, but expect it to be pricey. I wish they'd do the shipping specials more often. I'd really like to see it the 3rd week of the month, this way offers could be made, and guys could get the delivery setup during that special, and for sellers, inventory would move before new storage fees are assessed.

I had a conversation with TIm at the National about this and it sounded like some kind of permanent Bulk rate shipping would eventually be instated. Not sure how long a wait it will be, but it sounded like one of the things they were considering is $10 off every 100 cards shipped, so basically you could get it down to 15 cents a card which I think is pretty fair. I would imagine they;ll probably either run another bulk rate special at the end of the month or announce something about a permanent bulk rate special relatively soon.

I don't think the shipping is that bad. Compare it to Ebay even if you were able to find somebody and bought like 100 of their cards, I am sure they would also charge like $3 for first card then .25 cents for each additional card.

Thanks guys for buying up my inventory. Now I only have 31 cards left in my account and the first person to make a resonable offer can take them.

Cheaper than K-Mart. Make me an offer.

Yes, he said that. But the problem is "when"? Its pretty hard making decisions on buying anymore without knowing exactly what the costs are.

If i am going to spend $1000's. I will just buy Big lots or collections on ebay. WAY cheaper.

If you buy 10 cards it ok... Like i stated, i just bought a 130 Auto/gu lot for $128 on ebay. That is just shipping on my lot on COMC..

What if i want to buy 2000 cards here(and i would), does $500+ shipping sound fair?
