It is something to do while I am retired, besides playing golf! haha!

We will see how long this lasts, since I turn 40 next month.

I've had an account for about two weeks now and have made back my money, minus the shipping.

I sold a few autos from Topps Triple Threads and a few UD Premier BB that I would not have even listed on Ebay.

Some of my base cards have gone but, I'm considering dropping my price on those when I ship in my SPX FB base cards.

Pretty cool sight so far and I look forward to using some of my balance to purchase players I collect!

I have to admit, when this thread started I checked the site and wasnt so sure about its longevity with just some of the rare parallels and lots of cards for player collectors....
but I just checked back again this week and I am very impressed with some of the cards I have seen available on the site-

I need to take advantage of the 100 free listings before the end of the month so I can pick up some of the cards I wanted to buy

I just had ~500 game used and auto cards uploaded to my account "cwc2002". Check it out for some nice parallels, game used, autographs, and rookie cards!

I was trying to do the math on this. And if I'm wrong please let me know. Say you were to have 100 cards you wanted to sell on either ebay or COMC. Each card's BV is say $8. You're only able to sell them on ebay for .99 or COMC for $2. Here's the breakdown...

EBAY:

Card sells for .99
You charge $2.50 for shipping.
You profit $1.50...

.99 + $2.50 - $1.35 cost of postage - .15 insertion fee - .09 final value fee - .40 paypal fee = $1.50

$1.50 x 100 cards = $150 profit

COMC:

Card sells for $2.
100 cards x $2 = $200

$200 - $22 processing fee to ship cards - $5 to ship cards (I don't know how much it is, I just threw this out there) = $173

$173 x 20% cash out fee = $138.40

So all in all you might make a little more profit off of ebay. BUT you save LOTS of time and the 20% cash out fee can be easily avoided by purchasing some cards you want for your PC. Also, this is using very basic numbers too. You may be able to make more than what I used for this example. I will definitely be using COMC to save the time that should be spent with my family.

I sent in 200 cards 2 weeks ago, and the email they confirmed shipment and said items would be posted by Wednesday 10/29.....
Recieved another email last night, and they had already posted all to my account for pricing!! Looks like they are picking up the listing times also! Priced everything out this morning, and should be on the site soon. Check them out "Texansfan", I have everything 5%-20% of book.

Do you the seller have to pay for your items to get shipped on CMC or does the buyer pay for the shipping through CMC. I think it was said before that CMC charges the buyer for shipping.

The big thing to remember is that when listed on COMC the card stays posted until it sells or you decide to have it shipped back to you. On Ebay that same card may not sell, so you would have to relist it(and lately it's even been hard to sell .99 cards on Ebay). I took advantage of the 100 free listings to send in my first 200 cards. I can't wait to get them listed and see how it goes.

COMC is offering 100 free cards also. They have done that for the last two months i think.
