Did CMC originally say that your cards would be posted on the 12th? That is when my cards are supposed to be posted. Did you get an email or did you just check the site?

I think there is a new option out there for DIY sellers. checkoutmycards is a great option for sellers who don't want to bother with listing or shipping (20% final value fees when you cash out though). If a seller doesn't mind listing and shipping I think collectorrevolution.com may become the top sight. You pay listing fees, right now they are free. But, best of all, there are NO FINAL VALUE FEES. I don't think the site has enough traffic right now, but the only way to build it up is to talk about it.

I checked that CollectorRev. site today because I got an email from the operator- It seems to close to Ebay- Alot of the same singles, and the same singles way overpriced... I'll keep checking but pass on it for now and stick to COMC

Maybe we should open another thread about CR but I think if COMC wants to grow even more they'll eventually look at this route.
Think about it...you can have your cards listed as a BIN/ Best Offer and also the cards which you want to unload at one site. Now the shipping gets weird because you would have 2 sources (COMC and You) if the buyer bought from both. I dunno, anything that's not Ebay interests me

The 20% fee isn't that bad considering that ebay/paypal will take 10-13% +. Then you have to add in shipping costs (including supplies). Plus you have to figure that most of the cards that you sell on CMC would never be purchased on ebay. I'll take $.10 listing any day over what ebay charges.

I wasn't comparing COMC or CR to ebay...I think both are far better than ebay. I am saying collectorrevolution (if a seller wants to do the work of listing and shipping) is far better as far as fees are concerned. I buy the cards I need from anywhere I can find them, so I check out all the sites. I just don't know what site I want to sell on, and thought CR was worth a try. Once I send them to CMOC then that decision is final...and I haven't been sold on it yet.

Here is my reasoning...see if this sells you any: 1) I have added 7,263 cards to the site. Multiply that by $.20 (as I joined 05/16/08). That equals $1,452.60 that is cost me to list the cards. 2) Let's say it cost me $200 to package and ship the cards (as I am not sure how much it cost me). That equals $1,652.60 to list, ship and get the cards loaded and ready for sale. 3) My total sales in 7 months is $8,508.05. 4) $8,508.05 (Sales) - $1,652.60 (Costs) = $6,855.45 5) Take 20% off ($1,701.61) to cash out and that leaves me with That means $5,153.84 of recouped money and still growing as I have 3,172 cards that are still for sale! You might ask what kind of cards I have sold....You name it...from .50 cards to $200 cards and everywhere in between!

I agree that COMC is great, but the $5,153.84 you have been able to cash out is far from "nothing but profit". Saying that it is all profit would indicate that the cards you have sold had no value and I highly doubt that is the case.
