shipping time from an APO address

could any of you military or former military guys and girls let me know what the average time it normally takes to get a delivery from an APO address? I purchased some cards from someone on 6/27 and it turns out they live on a base in Texas. I am in Arizona. There is no tracking and none of the other buyers have left feedback yet so I don't they have received their cards either. The seller has been a very active buyer and there only seems to be a 4-6 day turn around on him getting his purchases. I just want to know if I need to open a claim in the next week or so on it or just wait a little longer...but get in before the 45 days expire.

Not sure why someone in Texas would be using an APO, Army bases all have US Post Offices like any other town, not to mention the town outside the gate would have one, too. APO are typically for those stationed overseas. If he is actually deployed or stationed somewhere outside the US, I'd add a good 7-10 days to your usual shipping expectations.

Opening a claim is not a big deal. All it does is lay the groundwork in case you have problems.

good to know. the auction stated texas as the location and when I inquired on the DC# I got this response on 7/7:

"...The cards were sent out last week, but being sent from an APO, they take longer than normal to get to their respective destination (and I am unable to do DC out here, unless it is on a large envelope or larger)...."

He could live on base and not have a vehicle (that's not too uncommon).
