Another eBay bidder refusing to pay.. because of BV?

Yes, this bidder won the item and because its not what he thought was the possible BV of the item, he does not want to pay. rapadam is his name and he won my Kobe SPX auto, but since he doesn't think the BV is worth what he won it for, he does not want to pay. Lovely.

He wants me to sell it to the next highest bidder to resolve the issue so he doesn't get dinged for NPB...

Tell him "too bad". He won it fair and square, and it's now his responsibility to pay for it.

If he stated that, I'm forwarding that right off to ebay as thats total BS and no way I'm doing a 2nd chance offer. He bidded and per ebay thats a contract.

Ding him as a NPBer. Should have thought about that before bidding. Buyers remorse is a funny thing with ebay. Sellers are not billion dollar, multi-national corporations that can afford to accept returns or have buyers back out on transactions.

This goes back to my recent strategy of listings with just straight BINs with instant payment required.

Maybe Timmy and the boys are on to something at COMC you need to have money in your account in order to make an offer on something!

The bad part is having to have the money in THEIR account to make an offer that could very well be declined. Then it costs you 20% to get the money back.

What is book value really? I mean, if book value of a card is $5 but I am willing to pay $10, then bv doesn't play into the situation at all. I'm not gonna feel dumb or played because I paid $5 more than what some other person(s) think it is worth.

Book value is guesses from a crappy biased grading company on what is 3X higher than what the card is worth

Since you guys are the pros... How do you block someone?

I bought a card from nathanael0524 and he not only sent it damaged but he was a complete jerk.

Let me know so I can do so right away

Why do you want to block a seller? You can choose not to buy from him again without blocking him.

He's a childish seller so I would just like to block him in general if that's possible. If not then from buying from me.

Scroll down to the bottom of most any eBay page and click on "Site Map". There should be a link near the top in the middle column for Block Bidder/Buyer List.
