Default For all the ebay sellers

I am trying to buy a card on ebay. It is a bin/bo auction and I gave the guy my bo of 150 dollars and he wants me to pay the ebay fees. Should the buyer pay the fees or should it be the seller?

The original bin is 449.00. It is definately not worth that much. There was one that was priced here for 80. It did sell just dont know how much and the other one sold for 150 on ebay.

Since your best offer is well around sell price, I don't think you should have to pay the fees. The seller should.

His offer should include a buffer for the fees. You shouldn't pay extra for that. Sounds like a shady seller to me.

He is not supposed to do that...it is against ebay rules.

Of course, so is this...why don't you just have him send an invoice to your paypal email address and take ebay out of the picture.

Not sure why people are calling the guy "shady." He is probably just like everyone else on here, complaining about ebay fees and trying to maximize his net profit on the item.

Just counter with an offer that covers the fees. That would be the non-shady way to do it instead of trying to make it sound like you're selling it for one price and then asking for extra money.
