Default Ebay Alert: USPS Starting to slow down a great deal!

Guess its the holidays. I shipped a package to California over a week ago and it still hasn't gotten their yet. I shipped it Priority Mail Flat Rate with Insurance and it hasn't gotten there. I bought some new inventory from a seller in Canada who ships via USPS out of Washington State, and my package is still stuck in a Washington State Sorting Facility.

If this is happening to Priority Mail packages it makes me wonder what is going to happen when my First Class Parcel Post packages get sent out. Guess the holiday rush has started a little earlier....but also a warning to put DC on everything!

I predict that the post office will have its busiest year in a decade this Christmas. I also have noticed a slight slow down. These next two months will really show if the PO is able to handle the extra volume in a way that consumers will find acceptable.

Well they downgraded my post office's equipment, so hopefully this Christmas will be good for them so next year they can get all their better equipment back. I'm lucky one of the things they did upgrade was the credit card machine. So I can still charge my packages on my debit card. With talks about the post office being closed on Saturday I really hope and pray that you are right.
