Default So confused .... with Canada eBayer

I'm 2800+ and 100% positive feedback Taiwan seller on eBay.
So happy had business with any worldwide buyer.
Today ..... funny thing had happened.
Most ebayers understand we needs about 8~12 business days for international registered mail delivery.
I ship the card on the time and check with tracking on Canada post website.
It show me "Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing".
I told the buyer the card was keep at customs and you will get it in the few day.
He can't understand it and complained me.
I'm so helpness and told him please wait for your post.
In a few days.He got the mail and told me there is no card in it, just a piece of bubble wrap.
It's so funny~I had sold many high value even over 1000 usd cards.
Would I steal this $35.56 card?
It was happend over 3 times with Canada buyer.
I'm so confused it.

Although your English is not perfectly correct, I understand you very well. You write better English than we can do Taiwanese, I'm sure. Welcome to the forum.

Sorry for your trouble with the eBay sale. I'm not sure about Taiwan's tracking, but if it does NOT show tracking all the way to his door, then you will lose any PayPal claim that the buyer files. Did you insure the package? If so, you might be able to then file an insurance claim and get back your $35. IF no insurance, then I think you are at the mercy of the buyer.

When I sell items overseas, I always check to see if the buyer has 1) bought other cards from overseas sellers, and 2) did they leave positive feedback for those cards. If they are buying and leaving positive feedback for overseas transactions on a regular basis, then they are most likely legit and maybe the card was just stolen.

Good luck!

@FavreReturn

he shipped from Taiwan to Canada.
Customs held the package for a few days.
when it was delivered, buyer claims card was missing.
Seller has done many high dollar deals so why would he not send a $35+ card.
Seller says this has happened more than 3 times with Canadian buyers.

what's so hard to understand?

No disrespect to the Canadian members on here but one of the major reasons why I stopped selling internationally is because I had BY FAR the most problems with Canadian buyers.

I know that you are in Taiwan so this doesn't help, but just thought I would say you are not alone.
