Hi!

On the main page, go to the far right of the navigation bar, where it says "Browse" - there's a drop-down menu and the last option is "Promotions"

Click on that, and you'll see a link for Port Sales in the left hand column. Click that and you'll see all the ports that are available. Thanks!

If I were to send in $20 worth of cards but get the first time seller $20 discount do I still need to have $20 in my account?

Thanks for the question! Have a great day!
Thanks for the response, Moe! Just to clarify then, if I am going to ask for the 1st time seller's discount, do I need to have the exact amount of store credit, or may I account for the discount when purchasing said credit? Thanks!

Hi; if you're using the 1st time sellers discount coupon, you can account for the discount when you're buying your store credit for the processing fees.

Thanks for asking!

Hi, if you're sending in $20 worth of cards and are getting the 1st time sellers discount, you don't need to have the money already in your Store Credit account. The discount will cover it for you. Thanks!

And to add on...

I just did this exactly and no problems whatsoever

Thanks Moe

Make sure to measure your cards. I sent in exactly 700 for the $70 deal with a $20 discount and still had to pay an extra $28 to cover the cards. Some cards as you know are thicker.

The deal was for a 660ct box, not 700 cards. I doubt anybody else even got to 660 without paying extra.

I have a stupid question: what time does COMC generally update their inventory? I have an order due to post today, I was just wondering what time I should start looking for the cards to be there.

There shouldn't be any extra as long as the cards were all inside of the 660ct box. Special did not mention anything about card limits, only the box size. I sent in the thinnest cards that I had (tons of Stratus football). No idea if it was more or less than 660 but I wouldn't be happy being charged extra if it is over.

I've had cards populate in starting at 10am all the way to 10pm on the day that it's due. Sometimes they get it done a day or two earlier.

Exactly...for the special, I only sent in inserts and auto's (on thin cards)...no game used, no thick cards...

10 more days til mine post....

Awesome, thanks! I thought they may post at midnight PT, so this is good.

I know that. I doubt they've charged him $28 just for the hell of it though. Either he went outside the perameters of the 660ct or he must've sent in outsized cards/crammed in minis. Or COMC made a mistake.

My National Special shipment was processed yesterday. 2 of my cards are being returned to me. This is a first ... will be interested to see which ones they are, and why.

The wait for processing time is excruciating! I mean that in a good way. By the time the orders actually process I forgot what the heck I sent in!

So when you set your prices, does COMC automatically add .25 to your price for their shipping? If I were to price a card at $1, do potential buyers see the card as $1.25? I just want to make sure I understand the system before I start. Thanks!

Just made my first sale from my portfolio. I am learning a lot from this thread especially what you send in and how often you send it.

Just wanted to toss in my historical data for September:

Month Year Total Sales # Sold Sold BV Average BV % Off
September 2013 $87.00 10 $201.50 $20.15 57%
September 2012 $259.04 31 $351.50 $13.02 55%
September 2011 $44.20 24 $64.00 $3.56 59%
September 2010 $74.00 53 $406.00 $7.66 82%
September 2009 $108.10 76 $400.25 $5.34 73%
September 2008 $21.15 18 $73.00 $4.29 72%

Up until 2011 it was a lot of football from the early releases. I stop picking up football and then it is a lot of late baseball releases being sold or hot players from older years

I have around 400 cards going live around the 20th so we will see how the new batch does for 10 days along with the current inventory.

Made my 2nd sale today. Only sold Basketball cards so far from the 1990's. A few RCs. Nothing else is moving but once you make 3 sales, you officially have a business!
