Hi, just to let you know...you can use your "1st time sellers" coupon on the National special. You can get a coupon from our customer service team, just by emailing staff@comc.com - or, you can put a note in with your box of cards, telling us you want the first time sellers discount, and we'll apply it when we begin processing your cards!

thanks!

Hi! The card doesn't have to leave our warehouse for you to flip it. When you click on the "Buy It Now" button, you have the option to "purchase and relist" where you can set your asking price for the card, then it'll be added to your port.

If an offer you make on a card is accepted, then you can set your price via your inventory manager.

Thanks!

You can buy cards without getting them shipped back to you. I think it gives you an option to relist them.

Nevermind... the awesome customer service team from COMC responded

That is one thing they do really well... customer service.

Don't be shy ebout using the offer facility. When I first started using the site I happily paid full asking price. It was only after using the site for a while that I realised that even though I though I was getting a deal, I could've got them cheaper still.

Not saying you should've offered in this instance - Ajax never gives discount anyway! Just kidding, of course, but you'd be surprised at what people will accept sometimes.

(Realy am kidding btw, I've made at least one lowball offer to Ajax which he graciously accepted.)

Just set up a COMC account recently, and just sold a card for $0.13 I'm rolling in it! But the site is great and I find it useful.

I've been on COMC a full two weeks now and I'm doing pretty well. I have some low end and high end cards and I price my low end cards as the cheapest on the site. If I see something priced at $1.25, I'd price mine at $1.00. And of course I still get guys offering .50¢. Sometimes I accept, sometimes I don't just on principle. People literally nickel and dime on the site which tends to be annoying.

Did you make 13 cents or did you lose 12 cents?

I had the free 80 card submission for my first time, and had a card that I priced at a whopping thirteen shiny pennies. So I made 13 cents.

Hey guys, I want to bump this up with a few questions...

I have some cards that I want to send in (with 660 ct special). This would be my first shipment. Im wondering if anyone has experience of these cards selling well or selling poorly:
Allen and Ginter Minis
Allen and Ginter Black Border Minis
Star Refractors
Base Rookies of commons/semistars
Bowman Chrome Prospects
#d cards of Commons/Semistars
#d cards of Stars/Hofers
Funky 90s inserts
Junk GU
Star GU

Any info or reply is appreciated

Another question since this has been bumped up. My first submission went live last week. In everyone's experience on the site, is it worth doing the advertising through the classifieds? Do people see an uptick in sales once they add their ad? I also checked off to allow my stuff to go on Amazon. I should have checked here first, but, I jumped the gun (and it's only a click a way to turn it back anyhow), but do y'all find it worth it? Just curious. Thanks in advance!

I sent in my first set of cards yesterday.

One question... I frankly would rather not have people haggle with me over cards. I just have better things to do with my time than have to deal with people asking for $1.90 instead of $2.00 on my card. I'd rather just set reasonable, lowish fixed prices on everything and not have people trying to lowball me.

If I turn off "offers" entirely, will I lose a lot of business? Or if my prices are reasonable will people still buy my cards?

I always set my offer limit at 90%. It is a value I will accept almost every time. Don't worry about haggling this way. People still feel like they are getting a deal.

The biggest thing is to check the inventory on the site. Cards that have a lot on site will need to be priced VERY cheaply to move. Cards that don't have any will sell much quicker and you'll have more pricing power.

That's a good approach! That way they feel they're getting a special deal and yet you don't even need to think about it. Just accept.

Isn't there a rule on the thickness of cards (due to their scanning equipment I suppose), which means not all GU can go on COMC?
