I've been debating whether or not to send all cards to COMC or mix it up between E-bay and COMC. I guess the train of thought is to send anything $25 and over to the bay and everything below $25 to COMC. I've been considering sending everything to COMC because I do not want to deal with shipping or with a disgruntled customer getting a credit back from Paypal because they say they didn't receive a card, etc. See anything wrong with sending everything to COMC? What would be the negative?

The negative is the time it will take those cards to sell. If you put something up with a $0.99 starting price auction on eBay, in a week it will be sold. You might wait a long time to sell something on COMC.

That is the negative for me. I don't like having a ton of money tied up in high end cards, so I sell them on eBay to get cash quickly. Lower end stuff, all of it goes to COMC.

Agreed here. If you're looking for the money faster, eBay is the way. But, high-end does sell on COMC, albeit, slow.

One of the ways I take money off the site is buying high end cards and then selling on eBay.

And, now with this whole Vault service...

I send in cards only on specials like the current one, 660 count box for $70 then I send in a bunch of $2-$8 cards, give it one month then sell the port. Everything else goes on the bay.

Just sent in my 1st batch to COMC. Curious, where are ports listed for sell?

Are ginter minis such as A&G backs and black borders good sellers on comc?

as to one question, I will assure you the verifiers at COMC are real real good. They have about a 99.9 percent accuracy rate and the time per card they spend is not bad at all. Really truly unsung hobby heroes.

If I tell them not to take a card out of top loader as the set it comes from has a sealed top loader will they leave it be?

Yes, but they will charge more to process it.

Agreed. I have only had one in 2,000 cards submitted. And it was also easily fixed.

Awesome, did I accept it? :-)

Gonna load up the portfolio again... Gotta admit in the grand scheme of things, COMC is awesome. They have turned around some of my submissions quicker than the deadline, they do all the work, as the site grows in popularity, I am finding more $20-$100 singles I am happy to in essence, trade my $2-$5 cards for at about 50% of what I would get on the Bay.

COMC, unlike every other company in the card business listens to members and acts on suggestions. For this reason alone, I decided to add more cards and will continue doing so until this changes.

Didn't know that was an option - thanks!

Is anyone else getting bombarded with 50% offers lately? I've gotten tons of them lately on obvious scrubs like Wil Myers, Darvish, Bryce Harper, etc.
It doesnt bother me but i used to only get them occasionally.

I look at every offer given. While usually 1/2 is an auto reject about 5 percent of the time I do accept an half price offer.

And my account has enough cards I have an acc't manager so I have a direct contact and COMC and just as with everyone else I have had contact with at COMC it is one heck of a staff

I've been getting a lot lately and would actually accept some except the people keep going back and declining them before I even get a chance to log into the site to accept - or within a few minutes of the initial offer. They are fishing to find out who has 50% auto accept on. I have 20% but most offers are @ the 1/2 range. I do love the ones where I'm already the lowest or only one on the site and I'm still priced lower than ebay and I still get the 50% offer. Just remember too, a lot of these buyers are sellers and won't budge from their asking prices if you tried to purchase from them.
