Undercutting by a penny is counterproductive and really annoying, imo. Weird that he posts so many videos like that. Some of them have like 4 views.

This thread is both so mean and so awesome at the same time.

I'm sure this is what people around Zuckerberg were saying too way back then. This time sadly they (you) are completely right. Or so I think. Maybe he really is onto something.

Again, 'video Twitter'. He is trying to start a trend. This is why I don't use Twitter and probably never will. It is the same kind of nonsense that most everyone tweets. Somehow it is interesting if it is a celeb doing it instead of a COMC nobody though. I've never felt the need to send out my status of accomplishing menial tasks. Then again I'm pretty out of touch with what is cool so maybe it's me.

This is at least the second time you've called me out on this in public. The first time I let it go but this time I wont. The funny thing is that I actually went in on the cards you specifically asked for and made them all the lowest on the site after you asked about them. Even that wasn't enough for you as you are an extreme lowballer. I have too many cards to keep up with all of the pricing. Sometimes the values move down and I don't notice so my cards stay up. Sometimes the values go up and I don't notice and I am way underpriced. I am almost always the lowest or in the lowest three at the time I list my cards though unless it is rare or the only card on site. Then I price more aggressively as most sellers do. If another then gets added and I didn't notice then my card is higher but the only one that hurts is me. None of my prices are intentionally ridiculous and if they are and someone lets me know then I adjust them just as I did for you. I also allow 45% off offers. Not that I will accept them on everything but it is something that sellers like Joel don't do.

Moral of the story? Piss off. If you want to lowball and be a cheap arse fine. But don't call me out in public because I wont roll over for you. You feel entitled that just because you are collecting a set that everyone should give them to you.

I will simplify the concept for you.... If you do not like the price on COMC (even after an offer) then do not buy the card.

I just sold a card on comc for $1.60. I had it listed for $3. I looked it up on ebay and it was going for more than $3 nearly every time before shipping costs. A couple of bad listings for less, but most I saw were about $6 w/shipping if not more. The person who purchased it also had the same card on "sale" for $3 (reg asking price $15) and there were 6 others priced less than me prior to me getting an offer. Deals can be had if you look, I can't keep track of every card in my mini port. but back on topic about richard heads.

I don't think we can fault anyone for how they price their cards. The cards belong to them, and if they don't want to sell them, then they don't have to.

Hi Joel, welcome to BO. In all seriousness you are right though. It is why I have never been upset at people that ask ridiculous prices. Sure I get frustrated when they have something I want and they are way above value but so what, it is their item to do as they please with. The videos on the other hand? Can't find a way to defend that, sorry.

I had no problem with Jhs,actually yes I did, until the other day when he was defending comc charging extra to process $50 and up cards. I felt ready to reply with "you are a huge Richard" then I find this again...

And the worst YouTube video of all time goes to..

Haha, I'm the one who called him out to bring this post back from the dead! I don't fault him for his prices, I was just curious to how he sells anything, but maybe he doesn't sell much which is why his port is so big.

Wow... This thread has confirmed what I've always believed...Thank you for posting this video.

I am also not a fan of this person, but these videos make everything so very ok now.

I like big ports and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a port sits there with a lot of relics and tons of ink in your face
You get sprung,
wanna pull out your Paypal and get spendin
'Cause you notice that port was stuffed
Deep in the port he's flossin
I'm hooked and I can't stop buyin

JMS doesn't do promos so good luck with that!

Why are we falling out on this thread anyway? Can't we all just agree that Joel is a HUGE richard?

(Tbf I had a few of his videos playing in the background and while they are very boring and self-indulgent, he's clearly not unintelligent and very occasionally managed to make me smile.)
