Default My worst EBAY nightmare just happened please help me!!

I sold a $110 phone on ebay the buyer clamied he got a phone worth $10. I said Ive never even owned the phone hes claiming he got eBay is letting him send it back and they held my funds

Haha so you did send a $110 phone and he replaced it and is sending you back a $10 phone and he gets the $110 phone for free.

You have to love eBay.

do you have pictures of the phone and serial number you sent? I don't see any phones in your sold items which went for exactly $110.

Thats sucks OP hope it works out for you....deff. 1 of the top scam items on ebay is selling phones ...your ebtetr off dealing locally through Craigslist when it comes to electronics/phones

I still have hope I can get this work out with ebay when I get it back I almost wish it was more money so I could sue


the reason I bring this up is how easy is it to sell a $800 card and the guy claim he got a $4 card and switch them??

Since January 2013 (or maybe before?) there's been a "Report This Buyer" link available on every transaction. It is critical that sellers use this to report bad buyer behavior, false items not received, switch-a-ro returns, etc.

If the buyer has other reports on their record, eBay may side with you on the claim. I would suggest fighting the claim. Call eBay and/or PayPal and state in calm, clear and concise words exactly what happened. Also make sure to fill out one of these "Report This Buyer" forms. (available in the transaction details page)

Just had another guy say he got iPhone 4's not 4s and he is demanding a refund for waaaay less than the price of 4

This is just one of the reasons I have almost completely stopped selling things on ebay, been months since I listed something.
