It appears some of you have a whole lot of free time available to you.

Lol, liar, something tells me you are addicted to the top of the board. WTH? I guess I don't see how this is fun. I did one and got bored and don't feel like doing more.

Edit: I'm a liar too. Did two more and got a 3 min flat. I'm out. 30,000+ boggles my mind.

My best time is 1:51. I rarely beat 2 min, so the 1:47 earlier in the thread is mind-boggling.

Don't take this the wrong way but wtf? How many hours have you spent and for what reason? I guess I'm missing the entire point and will take my 300 points and go home.

I play to help populate the data for the catalog, but it also is addictive (at least for me). I just keep trying to beat my best time.

Well Ghumbs is kind of one of the people in charge of development, so I would hope he is quickest

As for me, my girlfriend thinks the "game" is "fun" and enjoys seeing all the cards with me. That kind of makes things go by much faster. Now she wants to help too! Maybe I'll look into some sort of tag team situation haha.

And remember, every 5,000 points gets you entered to win some gift cards. That sure would be nice! Plus that badge I'll get next to my name, which could be good for business, you never know.

I have a feeling some users are outsourcing some of the work, all done on their account.

I find it boring & time consuming and I have things and people in my life that i prefer over sitting in front of a computer typing in initials.

No funny business here, but what would make you have that feeling? Seems to be a very small amount of people that have a lot of points, and 10,000 points can be achieved in about 5 hours of work or so, which isn't that much, considering the challenge went live Sunday Morning.

It definitely isn't for everyone. I have the extra time, enjoy helping out COMC, and looking at cards. I've mostly done baseball, but enjoy trying out basketball and hockey. Basketball is tough though, there's some wacky dark foil cards that make it hard to see the names.

I wouldn't even call it funny business. It's ok by me, if you have someone you are willing to trust with your account.

Interesting thought. I wonder what the "badge" will do. Hopefully all this painstaking hour-wasting craziness is worth it.

No outsourcing here! Just long hours in front of the computer. I've given up though for the time being. Someone feel free to overtake me on the leaderboard!

My goal is to be one of the first 10 to make 20,000. I'm about 3,000 away but I'll be busy all evening. Everyone is invited to ruin my dreams.

Ditto! I don't why I'm still doing it, but who knows, maybe the perk(s) will be worth it!

Has anyone had a challenge overturned? I entered "JIEI" for Jim Eisenreich and it was counted wrong.

I've been doing them as PJTU and JBBR.

If this is wrong, someone stop me now.

Looks like the system knows him as James, not Jim. One of the things we're looking to fix with our new catalog. There's several cards like that - I found one yesterday with a printed typo on it actually where the name was spelled differently on the front than on the back. Flagging them for review will help us weed them out of the Challenge. If there's ever confusion you can just hit "skip" and we keep track of how many times a card has been skipped; if everyone is skipping something, there's probably an odd issue with it and we pull it for review.

That's correct.

Thanks for helping us so much. We have a bunch of new Challenge features and updates we're getting ready to launch very soon. Hopefully they'll make the whole thing even better (and more addictive). My favorite player in the Challenge so far: Colt McCoy.
