Default June sales on COMC slow for me or everyone?

Been steady since last August when I started. Just seems pretty soft this month.

Good weather perhaps?

Haven't sold a card in over a week. It may be because I only have 180 cards or so, and perhaps I'm asking too much for certain things.

Mine have been the same as May for the most part. Little slow the past week, but didn't have much drop either.

Mine have been better, but they were down in April and May while everyone seemed to be claiming "record sales".

I'm just about done trying to figure out the logic behind the COMC economy. 99% of us have too little inventory to get a solid sample size to base the overall health of the site off of.

Mine have been good so far in June, but I have had a lot of Tanaka, Kris Bryant, Polanco, Kawhi Leonard etc.

Haven't seen a dip at all, maybe a slight bump but pretty consistent since the site has stabilized more.

My inventory is pretty large and diverse so I feel I can accurately judge the overall health. My May was one of those "record sales" types. I almost doubled my previous high and that is going back almost two years. It was helped and almost entirely due to a few very large sales including $1,000 worth of Jofer's and some high dollar Stantons. Outside of those two huge transactions, it was pretty slow.

This month is on pace for one of my worst months ever. It can't be attributed to summer either as last June I sold more than three times as many cards as I'm on pace to this time and I only had about half as many cards for sale as I do now. Offers and sales have certainly dropped off but I'm not panicked yet. Sales have been ok since the meltdown and up until now so hopefully it is just a slow month for whatever reason.

June has been steady for me, on pace to sell about as many cards as I did last month.

IN april i turned on an auto accept to circumvent the lackluster sales. I also started running sales (which i never did before). I have been moving alot of low end. So far, June appears to be about average for me, but most sales are lower end stuff...

June 2014 $799.34 370 $0.00
May 2014 $1,643.57 558 $0.00
April 2014 $942.24 385 $0.00
March 2014 $2,333.32 601 $0.00
February 2014 $2,067.69 531 $0.00
January 2014 $1,731.80 429 $0.00
December 2013 $3,336.19 521 $0.00
November 2013 $3,247.00 526 $0.00
October 2013 $1,691.74 443 $0.00
September 2013 $1,606.88 423 $0.00
August 2013 $2,056.08 359 $0.00
July 2013 $1,207.11 334 $0.00
June 2013 $1,482.89 404 $0.00

Started slow for me, but has picked up the last week or so. Overall I am still slower than a normal month, but it has improved drastically over the last week. I usually look at average daily sales as a sign - normal is 15-20 cards per day for $25+. Right now I am at 11 cards per day and $18 - last week at this time it was 7 cards for $10.50 per day. If it keeps trending, the ship will correct itself. Haven't sold many over $10 cards this month, so those are usually very big helpers.

Thanks for the color - I have about 13,500 on there ($15K ask). Typically do about $300 per month - its just a little softer than usual.

If a couple higher priced cards hit then I'll be normal.

I don't think things are just slow, it just depends on people's inventory, if you can refresh your inventory your going to have more sales, but if you sell all your inventory from the previous month chances are if you don't add to it, the same cards that people don't want from last month at your current price will not be wanted this month.

I have noticed this the past few years, just refresh your inventory and price it competitively and you'll have consistent sales every month

This is actually my biggest month ever, but it's all relative because I sold a port a little while ago haha.

I have 50% auto accept on right now too and I've been advertising it on multiple sites so that helps too, gets me a lot of forum traffic. But I'm ending it tonight so we'll see how I do after that and it's more your typical COMC user who isn't on Blowout or SCF or Freedom Cardboard.

THIS. I've been trying to buy as much Jordan as I can afford. But 90% of prices are not even competitive and people want over ebay for them. Why would I buy on COMC if I could get cheaper on ebay?

Actually have purchased a bunch from you a few weeks ago. Always looking for stuff I don't have and I have pretty much all you have right now. Hoping your future batches include some more I need though.

Feel free to offer on any of my Jordans. I have most of them priced lowest on site but I assume that's over Ebay a lot of the time. I'll usually take half off or if you message I can take lower. All I need to make is what I paid since all my cards are attempted flips haha.
