Default Flatbed scanner - looking for advise

I am looking at scanning mostly graded cards and cards in magnetics. I don't have a top on desktop space but am curious as to what you guys use for flatbed scanners?

I am hoping to stay in the $50-$100 range, any decent options out there? I am guessing a model like the Epson Perfection V37 Scanner which advertises being able to scan 3D or thicker objects might be a good choice.

If you could please share your brand\model and maybe an example of a scan that would be appreciated.

I noticed a few threads are out there pertaining to this topic, but was looking for some more newer post(s).

Thanks all,
Zach

I have the Epson perfection v19 and I am very happy with it. It's very lightweight and does not take up a lot of space. I have a few items for sale right now on eBay, so feel free to click on my ebay user id to check out a few scans of mine. I also included a link below that I came across when I was researching this scanner:

Epson Perfection V19 Review & Rating | PCMag.com

Hope this helps. Let me know what scanner you end up getting.

You want someone to advise you, or you want advice?

Mostly just curious as to what others are using and their results. I was just browsing the Epson line and came across the V37 and V39.

This is what I use and it can scan 3D which works perfectly for a segment of items that I sell. I have probably scanned over 25,000 items with it.
It does not scan chrome and foil cards very good at all though.

Do you know or have heard as to what scanners are good for chrome\foil cards? Do any do both 3D and chrome\foil well?

Some of the other threads relating to scanners have info on scanners that can scan the chrome and foil cards without issues. I stick with mine due to the multi-purpose aspect. I have to have a 3d scanner.

Canon CanoScan 8400F, 8600F, or 8800F. You can pick one up on eBay for Craigslist for $30.
