Default unresponsive buyer - options?

I have a buyer who won an auction for a "Pick 25" lot last week. He sent the payment, but has not indicated which cards he wanted from the list despite 5 emails from me asking him for his selections. If I were to simply refund his money and relist the item, would I be exposing myself to a potential neg. feedback from him? It's weird because he has 1500+ feedback....

Yep i could see him getting on and seeing what happened and getting mad. Then again he knew what he was bidding on and what it would take to get it.

Side note: I really like the idea of a "Pick #", never heard of that before. That would be a neat fun auction to win.

I would keep sending the buyer email request, via eBay, to document you have been trying to communicate.

I send one per day thanking him for his payment and asking him for his selections from the listing - up to 6 or 7 total now. Maybe he was hospitalized or something - really, really weird...

all your messages may be going into his spam folder, try sending a message from a different email address.

That spam folder thought might have been right, but I ended up refunding him and canceling the transaction. Just had another buyer do the same thing and sent the refund after 5 unanswered emails over the course of a week! Now I have another guy who bought 30+ items who has not paid! What a planet!!
