Default Checkoutmycards.com

Hey guys,

I just listed 600+ cards with Checkoutmycards.com... It was good service..It took a full 2 weeks after I sent them the cards to get it uploaded though. They are really busy I guess. Was .20 a card to list, but that is a one time cost till they sell. I am pretty happy with it and will update if and when the sales come in. Take a look, this could be an alternative from Ebay. wunderkindcards's Cards - CheckOutMyCards.com

Well, I feel I am in my right mind. These are cards that I am not going to waste listing on Ebay. Now instead of sitting in my house collecting dust, they are listed on a site with a lot of exposure. So I pay .20 one time fee per card. Now if they sell, I don't have to worry about shipping, paypal fees, cheating customers, nagging customers, going to the post office, different post office rules, negative feedback, positive feedback, etc. ..all the things people complain about on here every day. I already have sold some cards and it hasn't been 24 hours even. I wouldn't list my best cards on here, but cards like a box full of chromes and refractors that might or might not sell works for me. I look at the 20% commission as a little high, but then remember all the crap I don't have to deal with and it makes it worth it. Time is money, and the more time I can spend on the bigger items and set building the more money I can make.

it is definitely one of those alternatives people are seeking. Keep us informed. Like you said, it may be a way to move certain things without all the hassle. Good Luck!

Yes please keep us informed, what have you sold, how much did you get? I mean if you can sell rookies and base and common cards that you can't sell on ebay, why not dump them here? If you can sell half of them for anything, it is better than them sitting in your room taking up space!

Ok guys..I am keeping you updated...here are my first sales in less than 2 days...

Jacoby Ellsbury 1952 Rookies Chrome $6.00 ---Ebay average anywhere from $3-12

Jacoby Ellsbury 1952 Rookies Chrome Refractor $10.00 -- Ebay none recently to compare with

Miguel Tejada 1952 Rookies Chrome $1.00 -- Ebay .99

Mark Reynolds 1952 Rookies Chrome $2.00 -- Ebay No sales

So, there is 19.00 in sales.

Now if I wanted to cash that out I would get 15.20. But, if I wanted to use it to list more cards I get the whole 19.00 that would be 95 more cards, or I could buy more cards from the site for the whole 19.00 if I see some that I could use in my collection or sell for higher on Ebay. That way I am getting the whole amount and not having to worry at all about the 20% commission.

Reallly quite interesting....
Loading up cards on the net,
you can even keep your purchases on the net..

Has sort of an ETopps feel to it.
I may give this a shot

They are long time members of the card selling community. They were formally lowpricecards.com A pretty big card site. Also Tim Getsch one of the owners works for microsoft and has for awhile. These guys are here to stay. Look at how much money they invested in their site, I trust them.
