Yes the joy of cracking packs it is so fun until you try to get your money back. That is why I have never really opened too much stuff, it is so hard to even break even on cracking packs.

BTW how much do you want for the Portis Jersey 60/100.

hey - some people smoke, some drink - they spend lots of money on a myriad of hobbys where you get NO return for the financial enjoyment you invest in your hobby. At least with buying packs/boxes/cases you're able to get 50%, 75% - even MORE back (sometimes) on your investment. There are many hobbie that get people no monetary returns.

Maybe I open cases and boxes for different reasons than you guys all do (um..it's a fun hobby), but if you look beyond the fact you didn't score a mojo rookie auto, I think you'll see you got some beautiful looking memorabilia/parallel cards of HOFs, All-Star vets and even a few Rookies that will sell better than you think.

I agree with you as I still do collect HOFers autos and some HOFers GU. When I break I'm either looking for a big hit for my own collection OR a big hit to sell. It stings when you get pretty much neither.

The Baugh will probably be a keeper as well as the Walter Payton GU. The Bush auto was Mike Bush not Reggie. That was the one per 1/2 case hit. He may pan out eventually.

After looking at it, I don't think you're going to take that bad of a beating. You have some really strong vet cards here that should get you a decent portion back. I think you may only lose 200-300 on the whole thing.

It cost me in the Topps League last week (to busy remember to bring the goodies for everyone else's turkey dinner)...probably cost myself an chance at Topps grand prize since its the 2nd time I've done that in this league.

The Hampton 3 color patch in the scans and a Deuce McAllister 2 color patch #/10 were the 2 "best" cards in the last 2.

Upon "further review" I got a nice surprise this evening. During the game I was sorting through everything I was going to list and I found out that I made an error thats in my favor. The redem. for the Banner Season Sig Materials #8 turns out to be Peyton Manning and not Willis McGahee.

I guess in my frustration I looked at card #8 in the base set and not in the Banner Season list. Stooopid !!!

Regular is #/25 and prime is #/15

All of his autos have been redemptions this year.....

Hope he signs soon - I have a LCM #/5 coming my way

Not #'d /8, Banner Season #8. I looked up card#8 in the base set for some stupid reason and that is McGahee.

Maybe he can sign in between takes of all of his commercials
