Default Recent Box Breaks from Black Friday to Birthday to Xmas

Well I've gotten to open a lot of wax this past month given Black Friday dears on Blowout, my Birthday which was 2 weeks ago and now Xmas. All in all I busted the following:

Black Friday- All from Blowout
1- 2008 SP Authentic Baseball
1- 2009 Score Inscriptions Football
1- 2011 Absolute Memorabilia Football

Birthday
1- 2011 Panini Certified Football
1- 2011 Playoff Contenders Football

Christmas
1- 2011 Sweet Spot Football Pack
1- 2011 Panini Limited Football
2- 2011 SP Authentic Football

So here are all the hits in the order I opened them.

First up 2009 Inscriptions

Kevin Ogletree Auto 416/799
Dante Rosario Auto 410/499
Kory Sheets Gold Zone Auto 49/50
BOOM Josh Freeman Red Zone Auto 07/30...
The Freeman was great because I pulled and traded away a Gold Zone Auto /50 of his last year.

Next I decided to change it up and get a baseball box- 2008 SP Authentic

Paul Janish RC Auto 898/999
Jay Bruce RC Auto Jersey 505/549 Two time all-star so not bad
Lance Berkman By the Letter "M" Auto 02/15 Very Happy with this one. Great Player and cool card.

Saved the most high end box for last- 2011 Absolute

Brandon Harris Spectrum RC Auto 188/299
Shane Vereen RPM Auto 159/299
SICK Torrey Smith War Room Materials Numbers Prime 01/10 but is damaged Anyone think it's worth sending it in??? I love the patch and I don't want to lose it.
Greg Jennings Spectrum Auto 05/10

Next up were my birthday breaks, which were gifts from my parents.

2011 Certified

Evan Royster Mirror Gold RC Auto 02/25. DAMN YOU ALFRED MORRIS!!!
Christian Ponder Fabric of the Game 125/250
Leonard Hankerson Shirt off my back Prime 24/50
Randall Cobb Freshman Fabric Redemption (redeemed)

2011 Contenders

Originally I thought this box was a huge bust. Luckily for me I checked the BV's of everything and well that's when I found out about the Kerley.

Phillip Tanner Auto
Jordan Todman on card Auto
Anthony Castonzo Auto
Mason Foster Auto
Jonathan Baldwin on card Auto
Shane Vereen Playoff Ticket
Jeremy Kerley Auto SSP/82

Christmas Boxes. Now these I actually went out and got a few days before xmas at a show in Michigan (bout a 90 minute drive from me in Ohio) and the 2nd SP and Limited were from another place online where I had a gift card to.

Sweet Spot Pack

Kendall Hunter Sweet Spot Rookies Signatures Helmet Auto 312/599
I was happy about it because I really wanted to pull one of the Helmets and also because I'm a huge 49ers fan. Of course my girlfriend picked the pack so I have to give her the credit.

SP Authentic Break 1

This box was brutal until the last three packs
The first 21 packs revealed:
Prince Amukamara Base Auto
Vincent Brown Sign of the Times Auto (he would haunt me later)
After I pulled those two I found the pack with the patch (partially opened) so I put that aside till last.
So while I was opening the rest of the packs as fast as I could, I was pleasantly surprised to see an extra hit let alone a rising star
DeMarco Murray Base Auto
So I open the patch pack and see it's a redemption, I am barely able to make out who and what it is and BOOM!!!

Colin Kaepernick RC Auto Patch /699 (redeemed)
Now I just need to hope for a sick patch. And although I could not make out the code, UD's customer service was very helpful and were able to redeem it for me.

SP Authentic Break 2

No part about this break was good... unless you are a Vincent Brown Collector.

Vincent Brown Base Auto
Mark Herzlich Sign of the Times Auto
Vincent Brown 2-Color RC Auto Patch 557/699

Last but not least 2011 Limited

Jordan Todman Rookie Jumbo Jersey 01/99
Cool Leonard Hankerson Initial Steps Shoe 91/99
and
Again!!!
Colin Kaepernick Phenoms 3-Color RC Auto Patch 041/299

Overall it was a fun month that's for sure, and it's hitting nice cards like this every once in a while that makes this hobby fun for me.

Thanks for looking! All FT, just shoot me an offer. Kaepernicks probably only FT for Steve Young.

I'm in Oak Harbor (right in the middle of Sandusky and Toledo). But yeah it was at the Gibraltar Show in Taylor. You going to the Toledo show on the 6th? Apparently they have a show and never knew about it.

That's cool I have family in oak harbor, have you ever heard of nick fish or his dad don? I haven't been to the toledo show but a buddy of mine (kurt) who sets up at gibralter puts that show on as far as I know. Who do you normally buy from at gibralter? I've been going there to buy and occassionally set up for about 17 years.
