Contenders Blaster - I WIN!!! (and a few Prizm retail packs)

5 Packs of Prizm retail and I got a RG3 base, Green Golden Tate, and a Jamell Fleming (who?) Auto /499

Not too bad for 5 packs out of what was about 2.5-3 boxes worth of packs sitting in just two boxes

Opened the Contenders blaster, slid out the packs and before opening any packs there was a nice little surprise

Never leave the last box, I picked one up at Target two nights ago and got a Hillman auto, went to two walmarts and a meijer last night looking for them (Target was closed) and found none. Went back to Target tonight and they still had the one left, figured a Hillman auto out of a blaster was the best that store probably had and went down the street to the Walmart to see if they got theirs yet.

Stopped at the Meijer in between the two on my way back and neither had got their Contenders yet, so I stopped back at Target and got this one, really glad I did.

And all that driving isn't as crazy as it sounds, they're all one mile apart on the same road two miles from my house

It's the Rookie of the Year set that is part of Contenders, it's only available in Contenders blasters

Which target? The Novi one? I just hit that one a few days ago and did well on 3 myself.

Nice. Hit the RG3 version yesterday. Going to call it quits on the Contenders blaster hunting. Definitely the most fun I've had since I started collecting again.

RG3 was 120ish when it first showed up on ebay, but still these are great pulls. Only been a hand full on ebay.

You're confusing these with the reds that come from hobby, none of these have been sold yet (see the "rookie of the year nominee" stamp on it?)

There's an RG3 at $100 with like 9 hours left and a Luck at $90 with 7 hours left right now

If people seem to think the reds from hobby are about /75 print run and these are said to be /35 or less (and I've got to think Luck and RG3 are /25 or less) these first few could come close to $200 I'd think
