It's crazy how much it jumped. If I were him and it was sitting at 1,300 and I was looking for 2,100 or 2,500 or whatever, I would've ended it with 12 hours left. Aint no way I would've let that sit at that low amount.

If nothing else, let the local card store sell it online. As least they would have some positive feedback. But he got what he wanted (or looks to get what he wanted provided the winner pays). So it's all good for him.

the LAST real, actual bid was $1525. If 2nd place pays 1 more cent than that he/she should be committed.

The 0 shill bidder probably bid $3,000 because that was what OP wanted.

There was a $2,755 bid also. Otherwise the card wouldn't have jumped. BTW, why are you claiming this to be shill bidding? I looked at the numbers and none of the bidders have more than like 2% with this seller, except for one. He has 11%, but only has 16 bids in his lifespan.

This could've been someone that created a username last night because they wanted this card. If you look at his history, he's already bidding on other cards too.

The $2755 was 2nd's max bid, so he shouldn't pay $2755, he should only pay the minimum to beat the 3rd bidder since the last bid from the 0 feedback sure seems pretty flimsy.

The fact that he's bidding on other stuff doesn't really say much... as anyone wanting to hide a shill would just go bid on other things.

The person who "won" the card, in my opinion, involved with the OP.

The last LEGIT bis was $1525 placed at 10:13.44 EST. He had a Max of $2755 so when the 0 bidder shills it up to probably $3,000 it stops at the next highest increment os $2805.

If the 0 FB bidder does not bid it ends at $1525

If you read any of OP ranting about what the card is "worth" you will see why I believe the 0 FB is a shill for OP.

Either the (2755) was a legit supercollector and the OP had someone bid (0) at last minute trying to get 3000 or both are not legit and 2755 was the shill and (0) was just someone messing around. I guess will never know, but the seller is a moron! He first listed without Finest in the title then had to end and re list and then he ends at 10am on a Friday. This seller seems to not know what he is doing and he the seller gets 15% so they probably had it jacked up. OP wanted to get 2500 so he jacks it to 3000 so Op still gets his 2500 after commission.

Ebay is really dead right now, bad as I have seen in the 5 years I have dealt there. and those buying are mainly resellers on big ticket items who wanna flip. And most big ticket buyers snipe or hold their bid until the last second to maximize their return. With that said there is not one high end buyer i know who would throw down 2800 on this card, do a screen shot of where he made payment and shut me up OP, or else you got BUSTED lol

2800 for that card is as ignorant if not worse than the 4,100/2days left for the one below. STUPID people OMG lol

I wouldn't be surprised if it's re-listed by this seller or re-listed under another ID...looks like a $2700 "legit" offer got bumped because this idiot just couldn't stop being greedy and $1500 just wasn't enough.

The winning bidder is not a newly registered account. If it were there would be a little gold star thingy by the id. IMO the OP is to nieve to have a 2nd account. (nothing wrong with multiple ids as long as they aren't interfering with the other ids.)

I'm thinking somone is purposely messing with the auction to make it appear shilled so when it comes back up for sale the sellers name is tarnished, and he can get it cheaper.

The card receive a lot of publicity on this site. Everyone was watching to see what happened since the seller "got greedy". Now everyone thinks it was "shilled" when in reality the OP may have nothing at all
to do with it. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a member so devious as to pull something like this.

I'm guessing it wasn't planned. I wouldn't try it myself, but I think with this high caliber of a card that it really didn't make that much of a difference. There were enough people that noticed it. I would guess there were a few snipes set at 3 or 4 seconds that didn't show up because the 7 second snipe beat them.
