You want proof of that just look at Trent Dilfer.

People can knock Eli all they want. He is better than at least 20 other QB's in the league. He is one of the calmest QB's in the game. I can almost guarantee you that 75% of the QBs in the league would have crumbled under the pressure of the "fluke" pass that he completed in the SB.

Trent Dilfer I think had all the tools in place to win. He is one of the worst to ever win it!

As for Manning, I don't doubt his football IQ. He can read defenses pretty well. But he doesn't have a good arm and he will never be among the elite of this league. That is my opinion. But hey, I am a bitter Marino fan! lol
