Default For all the Eli Manning haters again.....

QB Eli Manning has posted a 20-4 record during the month of October for a .826 winning percentage. That figure makes Manning the most successful starting quarterback (based on at least 20 starts) in the month of October since the Super Bowl era began.

Eli is living off his family name. He is so inconsistent it's not even funny. He throws for 300 yards and 3 tds one game and the next week it's 200 yards and 0 tds. Most of his success you can credit to his defense. If you don't have to put up 30 points to win, it's a lot easier to win games. The giants have a great defense.

Apparently he's very consistent in the month of October

His defense has saved him. That's my point. Easy to win when you don't need a bunch of points on the board. Plus, who cares about October? What his record in later months, when the pressure is on?

Rex Grossman went like 13-3 and took the Bears to the Super Bowl. But he had a stout defense and solid special teams unit. Eli is not Rex Grossman but he's also not his brother.

Ugh, why'd you have to go and bring up Rex Grossman. That man there was proof a defense can take you all the way to the big one.

Don't get me wrong, he's better than Rex, but I wouldn't want him as my qb, trailing, with 2 minutes left in week 17 with a playoff spot on the line. But thanks for proving my point.

Got to be tough going through life having everyone compare you to and expect you to be as great as your big brother. I'd take Eli over a whole bunch of QBs in this league. He's top 12 maybe even top 10 on my list.

Eli will never get the respect he deserves even if he wins another superbowl. The haters will always hate and Eli will just keep winning. Go Eli! and Go Big Blue!

With 3 ints to 3 different defenders and a fumble he should have lost. He almost cost the giants a win with his last pick.

I don't remember "almost" ever counting for anything in football.

Just stating that his bad decisions as a qb could have cost his team and a bounce the different way on the onside kick, and the cowboys are in good field position with a chance to win.
