Phillips and Childress are probably somewhere in FL smoking a few cigars and playing golf together. They're both living the good life and are probably laughing at the rest of us.

Yep...and he's the last Manning to not only win a Super Bowl, but he's the last one to bring home the Super Bowl MVP trophy.

Maybe Peyton's time has passed.

Want to hear something silly? Give me what Peyton is playing with this year (Garcon, Wayne, Tammie, White) over what Tom Brady had to play with most of his early career. (David Givins, David Patten, Rod Rutledge, Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney.)

And Jason Garrett has been calling plays the entire season.

Just food for thought.
POTD - since the networks figured the Boys would be good this year they have a lot of national games so I've seen enough pre and post Wade Boys games to notice this as well. Somebody take the knife out of poor Wade's back.

Give Peyton the running game that Brady had and the defense and special teams (especially kicker back then) as well.

Do any of you think That Jerry Jones will offer Garrett the coaching Job at the end of the season?

LMAO...Antwan Smith over Edge James???

And I seem to remember that Mike Vanderjadt was the most accurate kicker in NFL history during his time in Indy. He only got run out of town because Peyton had a temper-tantrum about him because he missed one or two kicks.

The defense I will give you but that's about it.

Take your head out of Brady's arse for one second and think about what you're posting. Do you really think Brady was anything more than a game manager for his first SB win ? You mention Smith, who was huge in the playoffs for them. Same with Corey Dillon. Their o-line has always been one of the best in the league and their D was always better than what Manning had in Indy.

Vanderjagt only "missed one or two kicks" ???? They both cost them playoff wins. Imagine if Vinatieri only "missed one or two kicks" ?

I'll be shocked if he doesn't.
