Default Picked this deal up for $6,000

Here is what I bought the other day for $6,000. All cards except for the Bradford Bowman Chrome #/25 are listed on Ebay starting at .01 and ending Thursday night. The Bradford was sold offline for $360 to Coby. Feel free to let me know if I paid too much, etc or too little. Thanks.

Rob

Here are the scans:

Some notes on the scans:

The Ripken is a 1/1, The Freeman patch is 4/4, one of the Stafford Limited is #/10, the Kobe is #/50, the Aaron Rodgers is the Master #1/1, Henne is his jersey number, Peyton Manning Monikers is a #1/1.

I can't say with certainty....but there are a TON of nasty cards in there which, on their own, would bring in a comfortable few hundred bucks each. All told, I'd have to say you made out pretty well and I think the sum of the parts is greater than the whole! Awesome cards.

What to you estimate your profit to be?

You need to sell about $6700 to break even?

Some really nice looking cards in the lot. Good Luck!

I'm hoping the cards auction for $7500 total, that should net me about $500+ in profit.

I was thinking about the math, too. 50 cards @ $600 puts you at $120 for dead break-even, not considering your time to do it all. But, looking over your auctions I'd have to say that some may not reach that point, but others will certainly compensate for the difference. I think you'll do fine!

I'm not selling any off Ebay except I sold the Bradford to a friend. The rest will run and end on Thursday night, thanks.

Proabably closer to $140/card for break-even. Ebay/Paypal will get probably 10% and then supplies.

That's a week's worth of pay for most people!!! So I'd say it's good work since all he has to do is sit there and mail the cards out. I'd rather do that anyday!!!

If you think scanning, listing and shipping 50 cards is a lot of work, you could be one of the laziest ham and eggers in this hobby.

Awesome lot. I am trying to see which one I think would sell the highest and honestly cannot figure it out. I did have two questions, why does the Gordie Howe have rookie on top of the card and does Danica still sell really well?

That is a great lot. I think you will make your money back and then some. It is a nice time to have them on. Wish I had some to pony up for those Freemans. Now it is just if you could get a lot like that every week, you could be handling it. I will be checking these out often to see how you do. Congrats on the great lot.
