Just curious, how much did you pay to have it graded?

$15 plus the amount you paid to get it graded. Alot of people don't like or want anything to do with graded cards so it's hard to say!!

Yeah the problem with grading new cards is if they come back anything less than a 9.5 the value really doesn't change, unlike vintage cards. And even if it is a 9.5 not all are guaranteed to get you the grading fees back and then some.

i think grading cards is a good idea if you have intentions of holding onto the card for many years, like 30 or more. Look how cards graded that are from the 50's and 60's sell for. Especially if they have like an 8 or higher. If you grade new cards and they get 9 or 10's, one day they will be considered old and you will have a high graded vintage card yourself. That's the way I see it.

psa 9, probably like 10, would decrease the value.
psa 10, 30-35.

i think grading cards is a good idea for any intentions, as long as they will grade well. I grade a lot of cards, and as long as you're picky with what you get graded, you can make a good amount of money off of grading cards

a PSA 9 on a card from the 50's would not decrease the value.
