Default 2008 Bowman Sterling Break Questions

How did this break, is it a good one for re-sale? How did people do. I'm bored but I don't want to do a labor intensive break because of a short attention span.

LMK, I don't want to take a bath in this.

Don't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Good amount of redemptions and lots of $2 GU cards. Not sure how long will take Topps to get the redemptions back to people with their new online system.

The group break was rough. I wouldn't even think about breaking this if I were you.

Is there anything out there that is a good break that isn't going to take a ton of work.

KD..given teh way the market is right now..IMHO Take the money from your right hand..place it in your left hand..repeat, its a break even proposition. If you need extra excitement, place it in an envelope 1st. Anything new will be your best bet but most are going to have base cards and/or asst inserts that will be laboring to try and recoup your funds.

Yeah--I got the McFadden/Stewart dual auto patch card from the group break and was silly enough to think I may get close to $300 for it!!! I got $113. As many others have said, there are a ton of $2 cards in there and for mine to be (I think) the best out of 2 cases on the group breaks and to get just over $100......I would be pretty scared of a full case. I'm not sure how much has to do with the state of the economy and how much is just that these cards didn't do it for people.....

Bowman Sterling FB is a "semi" high-end product that sells like a a low end product.

I agree don't break it....I'm still dealing with redemptions, shorted autos, and all the other garbage that was short and being sent in its place

Maybe in 3 months I'll know how much I lost...LOL

At least with this Rookie class you can hang onto it and sell later when they're worth mo money!!
