Default Ebay problem

So I won this item 2009 Michael Crabtree National Treasures Pen Pals Auto - eBay (item 140508677984 end time Feb-10-11 18:06:21 PST) I recive it in mail yesterday notice case had tape on top and bottom of it went remove tape on top of case and case fell apart on me. Look like graded case wasnt secured properly so what do I do should contact seller ask for refund plus return shipping never had this issue about item bought on ebay do many transactions on ebay.

so wait...The BGS case itself fell apart and opened up on you?? And this is the case that came taped together?

Just file item not as described claim and you will get your money back I would think, seller had a poor picture of the item in their listing and did not describe the holder being broken in their description. If they had tape on it they knew of the problem before shipping it out it seems to me. Good luck with it.

Yup bought item off ebay was tape on top and bottom of case hold it in place went remove tape from top and it open on me very upset spent kind money and seller try sell me graded card wasnt secured properly. Just make me mad that going probly have send it back get refund and pay return shipping seller could mention this prior me bidding or least say something in his listing.

You can ask for a refund but the cost to ship it back to seller is on you.

So how should go about doing this never had issue before. I contacted seller should wait for reply or just open not as descriped case?

I would wait for a response. Give the seller a chance to make it right. If you don't hear anything right before the third day open acase.

I cant tell by the picture in the auction cause it is so small, but does the Beckett description on the plate match the card? I was thinking that someone could have cracked the case on another card and put that one in.

It all match up think I have message of him saying case was clean he just got back from beckett. Just tick he was aware of it and try hide it by taping it together and I goin have spend more money ship it back.

When ask about shape of graded case this is message sent me that I found.

So how should I go about handle this I have 17th is third day is anyway were I couldnt eat cost of shipping back to seller seller sent item in bubble mailer just cut off small piece of bottom easily tape well back on and is way just RTS?

I should file item not as described if dont hear back from them tommorw? Do have enough here were can make them pay return shipping cost or can just mark RTS by pass return cost? Do I wait untell refund issue send back or send back item back then get refund? I never had issue like this before with 3 day return timeframe not sure how go about handle this.

Also seem like this seller just got it graded and notice wasnt slapped right on case and instead of going back to beckett seller just listed it and sold it to me try hide fact it wasnt right by taping top and bottom make it stay together. There is no signs of damage that would make you think seller try tamper with it.

I end up file a case if sellerm ake right just close it but this what wrote

"I bought graded card from this seller recived it in mail yesterday and notice it was tape top to bottom. I go to remove tape from top of case and it fell apart on me which isnt suppose to happen graded card case is suppose be secured not to be holding together by tape. I even ask seller before bidded on this item asking if anything wrong with graded card case there reply was nothing wrong with it just got back from beckett. So I was lied to about condition of graded card case and seller try hide it by sending it to me tape up top and bottom holding it together hoping wouldnt notice it but I did. I spend plenty of money on ebay and have bought alot graded cards and know for fact that this item wasnt as descriped to me in message and his listing I have all messages back and forth in my ebay mail box if want check that out. I looking for full refund+ my shipping cost send it back to seller dont see why I need to pay return shipping cost if I ask seller about it before place bid and was lied to about card case condition and seller try pass it off there was nothing wrong with it when sent to me by taping it together."

Seller wouldn't have to make it right if he never made it wrong in the first place. Intentionally to boot.

Think about it, all the hassle the buyer now has to go through that should never exist in a transaction. People are getting soft these days because it happens so often. There was a time when this type of crap would not fly.

I would get a refund and leave a negative.

I ask for refund + return shipping cost think have enough proof messages through ebay I hoping get that. He pretty much lied when ask him prior to bidding about it and he try pass it off as nothing wrong using clear tape on top and bottom try pass it off thinking wouldnt notice it.

good point. I am a small seller myself so I guess I would want someone to message me before they filed a claim. I would try my best not to put myself in a cluster*@@# of a position like this one though. lol.

We let the seller know the item wasn't as described. The seller offered you a full refund of $31.11 to be issued through the same payment method you used to pay for the item.

Refund information:
A full refund of $31.11 through the payment method used to pay for the item.

So do I offer to send card back if seller pays shipping cost?

Ask yourself this question: Do you feel that you should come out of pocket with any money for this transaction?

The answer is NO. Seller pays shipping, simple as that. Don't offer, demand it of him/her.

Well look like they dont want card back I was willin send it back if pay return shipping. Was no mention sending card back in that message so guess just keep it find out what cost me to get it reslapped.

So do I leave negative or neutral in this case or no feedback at all?

Well it seems like seller didnt ask for card nor did ebay send me message to send it back. I plan on sending it back if seller pays return shipping but guess base on case being closed and sellers response is "good luck" guessing he doesnt want it back. Now I got find out what going cost me get problem fixed through beckett I think just needs be slapped properly.
