Possible 2010 Contenders Auto's SP's
So I keep seeing and hearing things about the possible auto RC SP's.
Some are saying the home jersey auto versions are the SP's, i.e. -> 2010 Contenders Tim Tebow Auto Rookie SP RARE HOME - eBay (item 290535068946 end time Feb-22-11 18:10:47 PST) these are the away jersey auto SP's that some say are not SP's -> 2010 Playoff Contenders Tim Tebow Ticket RC AUTO SP - eBay (item 290535017179 end time Feb-16-11 18:00:33 PST) Then some say it's the different poses of the player that says/makes it a SP, i.e. -> 2010 Playoff Contenders Sam Bradford Ticket RC AUTO SP - eBay (item 290535017232 end time Feb-16-11 18:04:11 PST) or 2010 Playoff Contenders Sam Bradford Ticket RC AUTO SP - eBay (item 290535017261 end time Feb-16-11 18:06:46 PST) So which is the SP? either way, they are nice cards. I'll be trying some tomorrow at my LCS. Hopefully I'll get a SP auto of someone! Good luck to anyone else buying this product. Looks great! |

I doubt it will be as simple as home and away to determine what is short printed. Panini does not like to make this process simple. Also not all of the variations have a different jersey so that is another reason to not think it will be broken down by home and away. If I had to guess I would expect to see the really short printed true rookie cards have a lower print run than the variation cards.

No one will know until panini officially puts out a list. Look at McCluster for example. Seems there are a bunch of the Home Jersey cards, but it says the home jersey is the variation. Really its all speculation right now. Although I just bought the Mathews that says its the variation according to the article. Just hoping it pans out. If not then oh well

What typically happens is that Panini will release the SP list, probably sometime next week. Then, we will know which cards are SPs, without knowing the exact print runs.
Then, about a week after that, the exact print runs of the SPs will be revealed. Until then, it's all a guessing game. |

i doubt either Dez will be very Sp'ed. maybe a 500:250 ratio....
