Default What are you paying for Contenders at your LCS?
Just called mine up ... said he got 2 cases and is selling for $140 each. That blew me away since he usually way overcharges for stuff ($75 chrome, $95 epix, etc). Just curious what you guys are paying at the local

damn i get topps chrome for $45 a box. i got a contenders for 117 and i think epix is around 80

Thiers a shop around here that has epix at $95 a box...like we dont know they come direct fron the distributer at around $50 a box lol

He had them at 150, but I come in pretty regularly to BS and buy supplies and he charged me 140 each for 3 boxes.

Just found out about another card shop nearby ... they claim to be the "#1 ranked card store in america two years running" .... I called the guy up and he said they were charging $200 per box!!! I couldn't hang up fast enough

Bought two today for $108 each. I was beyond surprised seeing that since I checked BO right before I went out. After seeing what everyone else is posting, I'm heading back soon.

I dont know about contenders but I paid 260 saturday at a show for 2 Certified hobby boxes, 1 Topps Finest hobby box and 1 09 Upper Deck Icons. The Icons sucked, the other 3 were great. That is almost 100 dollars cheaper then blowout. I got a great new connection.

Yeah , it depends ..if you can find somebody that deals direct you'll get really great prices
