The Redskins beat what most sports analyists call the best team in the NFL. Everyone said the Skins would only win about 6 games this year but we'll see. In the past the only question I had on the Redskins was their passing game but that is starting to come along. The seasons still has a long way to go but I believe that 3 teams will come out of the NFC East to make the playoffs. The Cowboys trying to get TO involved almost every play hurt them. Shaun Springs and Carlos Rodgers did a great job of containing him. Everyone had doubts on Jason Campbell but he's starting to look great (878 passing yards, 6TDs and 0 INT), Clinton Portis is running the ball well, and Santana Moss is playing at his capable level. I'm just glad Campbell isn't throwing INTs in the Red Zone as were going for a game winning drive. I think the did that about 6 times last year where he threw an INT in the red zone with the game on the line. What do you guys think about the Redskins are they the real deal?

I think they are the read deal. Solid Team that so far has avoided the injury bug (or maybe they just took it way to early in the preseason). Campbell is a solid QB. Smart, and generally doesnt turn the ball over. Think he does really need to work on getting his 2nd and 3rd option reads though as it did seem that he locks into one player a little to much (good thing for me as I have Moss on my FF league). If Portis can stay healthy, along with everyone else, I can see them making the playoffs.

If you look back through history... Every time the Giants won it all, the Redskins won it the following year. Just a little tidbit from a lifelong Jim Zorn fan.

NFC East is like the SEC. Anyone can beat anyone. No doubt the NFC will be represented by one of these teams this year in the SB. I don't know why everyone says Dallas is the team to beat this year considering the division they play in and the fact they die every December ? Their secondary is horrible in coverage and didn't ya just know TO would throw a fit the first time he had soso weeks back to back. Can't tell me he didn't cry for Romo to throw him that bomb at the end of the GB game. At least Romo threw it out of bounds and showed some class. He is far more accurate then that. TO's and his ego might rip them apart like he did my Eagles. Funny how Plax, TO and CJ are all represented by the same ahole agent and all act like self-centered spoiled children. Coincidence ?
![]() Oh yeah, just read Tank Johnson had to be restrained from going after Rock Cartwright for dancing on the star after Sundays win. Theres another genius that Tank. Guess its a good thing they took his guns away huh ? Surprised Pac-man didn't lend him one in the locker room. America's team...how fitting these days. ![]() __________________ Favorite Quote - "Chicks dig me 'cause I rarely wear underwear." |

I do think the redskins are the real deal. Jason Campbell is turning out to be a very solid QB, he has weapons at reciever in Santana Moss and Randel El. He has Clinton Portis running the football and that defense has just been amazing. The question I have for everyone is Who gets left out of the playoffs in the NFC EAST? Honestly the way the EAst has been playing, everyone in the divison will have a better record then any of the NfC division winner. This year is going to be very interesting. Even though I think the Skins are the real deal, I still think that the Giants are the team to beat. Time will tell.
