Which is the best price guide the becket monthly with all sports listed or the becket for specific sports. I only have football right now but I have thought about buying little basketball and nascar in future but not quite sure yet. I have also seen becket over's online price guide is that worth doing at all. Thanks for your help

If you are talking just the last two years of Football the Monthly Beckett Sports is the way to go because you get the other sports as a bonus. For the older cards I would suggest using COMC (Checkoutmycards.com) to look up the book values. Hope this helps.

Yeah everyone will say ebay. I have the beckett "bible" and call me out dated or just gay but I still refer to it. Ebay is the means of the operation but you'll run into people saying well, this card sold for 5 bucks today. I'll give you 5. Yesterday it may have sold for 20. Everyone wants to buy low while the seller wants to sell high. I sell on ebay. I'm not good at it by any means but I have so many cards I'm ok with downsizing and selling like 20 cards for 2-5 bucks each and piling funds that way. I would utilize ebay and the completed auctions to help you if you go to sell

A card is only worth as much as someone will pay for it. Therefore, ebay is the best representation of that. Plus, not as many conflicts of interest. Dont get me started on this crap.
