Stop with the 100s of products being pushed out each year, concentrate on making a small number of high quality products, and concentrate on getting on-card autos.

Fantastic idea but think how pissed people would be when one of their autos pulled is a coach... Pretty sure people would rather just not take that chance and stay away. Heck maybe they could be bonus hits.

Topps- Way less emphasis on Rookies in higher end products. I mean Tribute and Triple threads are jokes. If I am going to pay $160 for a box of Triple Threads, I dont want my "hits" to be a Taylor Price Auto /99 and a Mike Kafka Triple Jersey /36.

Panini- They just really need to start from scratch. Plates and Patches was HORRIBLE and the general card design is lacking, they could also really benefit from more on card autos.

So in general, both need to put in ALOT more work on their "high-end" products. Stop being so cheap and give the consumer what they are paying for.

I liked the topps gridiron giveaway with chances to get older cards and memorabilia. Since fairly new to the hobby not sure if this has been done before, but maybe some promotions that give you chance to attend favorite team's training camp or to attend super bowl. While these would be really rare the chance to get something signed by players other than a card would add excitement to the hunt. With every product I bust I get a Kafka auto so why not give me a chance to get an autographed Kafka jersey as well. At least that way I could have something to wear when working on the car or doing yard work.

Exactly. Maybe 1 pack of ttt can be a rookie hit then the other pack can be a veteran/legend hit.

Does anyone else miss the days where it was just about the cardboard? I'd like to see stricter usage of serial numbers across every company's product. Every card doesn't need a stamped serial on it and a 1/1 loses is 1/1-ness when multiple 1/1's exist that look damn near identical except for card color.

A bug improvement for me would be more jerseys that would show the wear and tear of game used. For example more dirt, grass stains, or even blood stains. How about bringing back helmet relics. How cool would it be to pull a card that had a helmet relic and the helmet piece be the bright green sticker that designates a helmet with the radio (QB's and the 1 defensive play caller).

The #1 thing that they need to do to help keep all of these fake cards out of the pipeline is to have a massive checklist that will actually have scans of the finished card. Look at how many of the fake Contenders that are popping up on eBay. They at least need to do it for all hits or for inscriptions and low #'d stuff. This is a MUST for all of the high end stuff like NT and 5 Star. They know what goes into the packs and need to help us keep the integrity of the hobby at a high standard. All of the fakes out there bring down the value of the real stuff. Kinda sucks that someone has to tape themselves breaking boxes just in case you hit a killer card just so you can prove that it is real.

Or how about one even better than the Golden Ticket in Contenders. Topps has redemptions in UFC Knockout that gets you autographed fight used gloves. That's not as good as a Golden Ticket in my opinion. But how cool would it be if a product had redemptions for an ENTIRE game used autographed uniform? The folks who would find them would be king of the mountain! I could only dream of what that would be worth.

I know this is thinking outside the box but I bet they could make it happen.

I think if they make less products it will only add value Also they need to rid all of this event worn crap. I feel that event worn is basically just a random schmo putting on a jersey for thirty seconds and they say the player used it. I feel we are getting ripped off with that. Then I think if there is less products better quality=happy customers and more value in autos and cards

I would love to see cards that reflect specific moments in the season and have memorabilia certified from the game depicted on the card. Imagine a Big Ben / Rodgers Dual Super Bowl GU.

I would like to see some products that have a balanced breakdown. i.e. the boxes with the better autos wouldn't have the better refractors, parallels, rcs etc. .. It would be nice if they would strive to give the average box a more balanced yield by at least making sure the boxes with the higher printed and or less preferred players still yielded an exciting card / realistic trade bait every time.
