Default WOW! This pulled in way more than I would think

Anyone know exactly how shortprinted this card is? I mean $1,600+ ??? He is still alive... interesting

it sold for that much because:
A)finding those cards in mint condition is next to impossible because of the black border. B)it's the most collected modern football set
C)SP's are limited to around 50

you're not new, so you should already know this. But, when a team has success, especially a team that already has a big following (Bears, Steelers, Packers, 49ers, Cowboys, etc.), excitement of the fan base goes through the roof.

Bart Starr being one of the most popular Packers of all time and being a Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl MVP himself, adds even more to it.
